What To Expect
Duration:1 hour 40 minutes
Operating Schedule:The Hop-on, Hop-off tour runs daily from 9 AM to 6 PM, with buses every 15 minutes and a full loop lasting approx. 1 hour and 45 minutes. Present your e-voucher to Big Bus staff at any stop before boarding, or redeem it at the Big Bus Shop & Info Centre (Via delle Terme di Diocleziano 34), near Stop #1.

5.00Be aware many museums are closed on Mondays in Florence. The app is helpful for planning excursions in cities though and a bus pass gives you flexibility.

3.00Compared to Big Red Bus experiences in other cities, this bus lacked an in-person tour guide, which lessened the enjoyment. Additionally, we were not given a map or earphones. A good way to get an initial lay-of-the-land, but not very informative.

1.00Family of 5 and a baby. We booked tickets to be told that bus stop by colosseum wasn’t in operation so had to walk 20 mins to next stop to find a very long queue for the bus stop- we waited 30 mins for a bus to have to stand up inside - then when I got a seat the audio wasn’t working - a disappointing experience and a first for a hop on hop off bus tour which are usually excellent and a great way to see a city.
Horrible - do not waste time on this tour.

1.00Horrible. Currently on the bus, none of the audio ports work, they have been filled in so you cannot plug in headphones, which completely defeats the purpose (cannot hear the tour recording). The bus is overcrowded, people standing and others sitting on the stairs to the top level. What a waste of money and awful experience on our only day in Rome!!!
