What To Expect
Duration:1 hour 40 minutes
Operating Schedule:The Hop-on, Hop-off tour runs daily from 9 AM to 6 PM, with buses every 15 minutes and a full loop lasting approx. 1 hour and 45 minutes. Present your e-voucher to Big Bus staff at any stop before boarding, or redeem it at the Big Bus Shop & Info Centre (Via delle Terme di Diocleziano 34), near Stop #1.

3.00Not a bad price if you don't want to walk absolutely everywhere. But not a lot of stops and the drivers just decided to stop early one of our two days. Luckily we were on a bus when they informed us it would be the last bus of the day.

5.00Competitive prices, route as shown. Easy and cheaper to book online. Did the full tour so it was easier to know where to go on and off. Can get busy but so does everywhere.

2.00Saturday went fine. But there was a marathon on Sunday, so the driver had to drive alternate routes. But instead of explaining he just kept driving around in circles, it seemed. He never stopped until we finally pleaded to get off at the train station. They should have explained the situation and offered alternate stops for people to get off.
Be ready to wait way longer for than the intervals they advertise

1.00Buses were supposed to be every 9 minutes. We waited 29 minutes one time. As a result of the excessive wait we were not able to get back to our original stop because the buses stopped at Stop 1 at 7:42 to close for the night. Then we had to pay a cab €35 to get back to original stop.

5.00Great way to see Rome you do spent some time in traffic jams but it is what it is. Shop around as you can find this cheaper in some places 24 euro was my day trip.
