Operating Schedule:The Hop-on, Hop-off tour runs daily from 9 AM to 7 PM, with buses every 15 minutes and a full loop lasting approx. 1 hour and 45 minutes. Present your e-voucher to Big Bus staff at any stop before boarding, or redeem it at the Big Bus Shop & Info Centre (Via delle Terme di Diocleziano 34), near Stop #1.

1.00Big Bus Betrayal: Day tickets sold in advance at full price and can be paid for, although Big Bus Tours knew that regular operation would not be possible from about 1 p.m. on 31 December due to a sporting event. Other passengers felt the same way. It's a sham. It's a sham.

1.00Initially the 3rd stop of the Coliseum was cancelled, no one told us anything, now far from the Coliseum, did not stop at the 2nd stop, just passed directly and at 17:30 was returning with my family from the 8th stop to the 6th stop and when we arrived at the point there was a bus but the employee said that we could not get in pq he would stop at the 1st stop would not leave anymore, and the website says that the last bus would be 19:25 at that stop and also said that the people who came by subway p would not give more to use the bus, me, my husband with 2 children in a city we do not know. This disregard is absurd.
Too slow, gets bogged down by traffic congestion. Use the underground instead.

2.00Big Bus is slow, has too few stops that are not near key attractions and wait too long at each stop. Not hop-on-hop-off at all, you can only get on and off at one of the 8 stops round the outside of the city of Rome. We hoped to use the bus to cut down on walking and save time, but found it was actually quicker to walk. Avoid the multi-day pass as we found it too slow so didn't use later days. Some of advertised route was not included when we were in Rome December 2025, and traffic around the Rail Terminus was ridiculous, boring and frustrating. Big Bus needs to rethink route to avoid significant traffic congestion at peak times, it feels like we paid just to sit in traffic. Advice, metro is quicker, cheaper and goes to better stops, it'll be crowded but his is Rome.

1.00A TIMO. Don't let them fool you. They've eliminated the stop at the Colosseum, put on a fool's face and a hand to collect, but they don't give notice of this. Checked out in several places they're all set to fool you. The worst tour bus I've ever met.

1.00This is a waste of money. The bus doesn’t take you past any sights; it merely passes within the neighbourhood, requiring you to disembark and walk to even get a glimpse of the site. One of the eight stops is a train station where the bus inexplicably stopped for 30 minutes. If you’re able-bodied, walking between some of the sites offers a better experience of Rome and helps you burn off calories from the delicious food.

1.00Not worth at all!! Don’t waste your time and money!! The driver does not point out sights or monuments or talk at all!!! And we did not find out until the end that there are headphones!!! Plus finding the bus was a zoo as we were redirected 5 times!! A total waste! And initially they offered a refund but then changed their minds. Which is odd considering they can see we have booked 5 more tours!!!!!!!
