I use HOHO buses whenever I’m in a place for a short time - great for getting bearings and seeing lots of things in a short space of time. You do need to queue for quite some time as the ticket man was really slow. We got 2 days for the price of 1 stayed on for the whole trip then got off where we wanted to on lap 2 - Rome took around 2 hours we were held up by a parade - it’s a pity the guide is a pre recorded one as it would’ve been nice to know what the parade was about but all in all a good trip

I ended up not being able to use it. I tried to get the 1 day pass train ticket to get to one of the stops but that station wasn't offering a 1 day pass. I wasn't going to spend 44euros one way when the printer wasn't working.

Rome is very spread out, so getting to the stops was not easy. Also, had to go to certain locations to pick up the actual ticket. Once we finally were able to get on the bus, it was fine.

It was a great tour of Rome. Saw everything. Heard entertaining stories. Easy to find stops. Map was helpful when getting off to see attractions. Nice first day activity. Not expensive.

It was a great experience. A good ride on the bus with great commentary and information. Tickets were available online and the entire process went smoothly and hassle free.

Communication about where to find the bus stops and info on the bus were terrible. On the top deck you need earphones for the commentary and they were no where to be seen. Ditto with the map. No 3 the Colisseum stop is out of commission and the walk from 4 is about 25 minutes. In fact all the stops are a long walk from the sights. Oversold to say the least...and you need time as the traffic, even in April, is very heavy.

Remember to grab an earpiece when you get on the bus so you can listen to historical notes. Overall it’s a nice way to get an idea of what you should see. It can be very slow because of traffic but I’m glad we did it and recommend doing it your first day in Rome.

Great way to see the city. Was able to travel around the sights and then decide where to get off. Did not have to wait long for a bus at each stop.

On the plus side, you can easily travel past some of Rome's highlights. Less is that the buses run much less often than previously said, the route was different and they do not stop everywhere they should. And you are especially waiting at stops or in busy city traffic. Pretty expensive for what you get, too. Not highly recommended.

The pick up point is very unclear and the instructions send you off in a completely different way. Not a good start. Then got hassled onto a crowded bus. It was ok eventually.
