It was a life saver for Rome. Would never of got around without it. Some stops need to be nearer the attraction though

Great vehicle to see Rome at your own pace. The 60/70 minutes round trip gives you the chance to see many of Rome's historic landmarks without getting off the bus, or if you wish get off at the designated stops to wander further into the capital to view; the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and or take a bite in the many cafes and restaurants in the tightly packed streets of Rome. Great value and a must for many travellers.

I do hop on hop off buses everywhere I travel as they are a great way to see a lot of a new place. This tour was good but didn’t stop very often (very far between stops) and didn’t go by some major places (you’d have to walk in to them which is fine but just know that for planning) We enjoyed the recorded audio tour a lot!

They promise the bus comes every 10 minutes but it doesn‘t. No service and if u ask why it takes so long nobody can tell anything. Can‘t recommend!!!

The stops are way too far apart, the explanations on the headphones don’t match where you are and are not specific enough to point out the sites you are seeing, and when the bus did stop, it stayed at the stops for far longer than necessary, making the journey long, boring, and relatively uninformed. Plus, many of the seat seats had non-working plugs for the headsets.

Wonderful experience! Very easy access to all the major sites in Rome. Look forward to using Big Bus Tours on my next trip.

The Viator value was EXCELLENT! However, the Big Bus experience left a lot to be desired. The audio quality was horrible. For a city so rich in history, the Big Bus audio was full of bad filler music, too many commercials, and precious little historical commentary.

I know it’s cheesy but we travel a lot and a hop on and off bus to get the lay of the land is a must. The Rome must circumvent the small streets but that’s ok. Rome also has a lot of scaffolding and this gives you a chance to see over the barriers. The recording vary a bit bus-to-bus so it keeps it interesting. A must.

It would have been a great experience but the audio on the bus was difficult to use(broken), the English wasn't clear, the timing was off and we couldn't use the walking Vox app as it wouldn't connect. I tried for an hour to get everything to work and the person I purchased the ticket with couldn't get the ticket. Where we went was beautiful.

The stops are a long way from actual key sites ...so you need to walk a lot. Not many stops. The colosseum stop was closed. With lengthy queues to most sites you won't be able to see more than one of its the Vatican or 2 maybe 3 in a day. No headphones given ...you need to take your own. You are better using the atac public transport system to get where you are going. This isn't a sightseeing tour or an efficient way to get round the city. Total rip off £45 for 2 when a day ticket on all public transport the metro and buses is 8.50 each with loads more stops that actually get you near the sites!
