We did both the full red and blue loops Aside for convenience to train station and stop at the palace the BLUE route was pretty much a waste of time the RED route had multiple stops and a bit more commentary This bus is great for seeing the sights but not necessary getting a lot of information The staff without exception were extremely good and willing to help

The Red bus route was the better of the 2 routes with more things to see in my opinion. obviously. It was nice to sit and see the sites after walking 60000 steps.

I was in Vienna in the middle of winter and wasn’t sure if the top level of the bus would be open or covered. I wanted to be at the top level so I could have a better view of the city tour but not to freeze. I was happy to find out that it was covered from the winter cold and I could see clearly throughout the tour.

It was a breeze. Once I had my QR code. I downloaded the big bus app which gave me a map of the closest bus stop we walked over and hopped on. We hopped off in a beautiful part of the Internet to enjoy lunch hopped back on to head back to our hotel and saw amazing sites. We loved using the headphones with the option for various languages to hear about the history and sites. Highly recommended.

I bought the 48 hours Vienna essential tour. It included two free services that did not work (the free punsch and the free walking tour). The bus tracking system didn’t work properly and I had to take public and private transport means.

Visiting Vienna feels measured and well structured from day to day. The city moves at a steady pace, supported by reliable public transport and clearly defined urban spaces. Historic architecture remains prominent, yet integrated into daily routines rather than isolated as spectacle. Cafés, parks, and residential streets guide movement naturally.

Very nice city tour (blue line and red line) with lots of information. The tour is a bit long if you get on the way because the bus stops long at stop n°1 (red line in particular) There are not necessarily seats for everyone when you get on the road.

We enjoy these a lot but had a few issues than other cities. Day 1 1. Ticket was booked via Viator and I could not get it to work. Had to reach out to Big Bus and they fixed it. It was a bad voucher on their end. 2. Driver didn’t know what my voucher was once I got it fixed. Had to find a rep and had to get off bus. 3. Long waits over 25 minutes in the cold. 4. Blue Tour was informative. 5. Driver and rep were stressed and got into a screaming match in front of us. I understand tension but not in front of customers. The rep apologized to us. Day 2 5. Walked 20 minutes to the closest stop to see it was closed for NYE from 10-1. Checked service update page and it was never updated. Lost 30 minutes of a short day. 4. Walked to the next stop and it was full. Driver told us to walk to stop 1. Lost another 30 minutes. 5. Walked to stop 1 and a large line and no bus. Waited 30 minutes and lost another 30 minutes. . Bus arrived. Lots of workers but no one directing people and everyone fighting to get on and sneaking in middle door. 6. Once we got on it was nice. Felt like we couldn’t leave due to long waits and massive crowds. First city that I have seen the top had the see through cover. Very smart Vienna.
