Use of Snorkelling equipment

We'll provide all the nessesary fishing equipment, from rods to lures.

We cannot provide entire meals on board. But there will be some snacks and anything else the quest would like. (in consultation)

There are coolers on board to keep your drinks cold

What To Expect

We'll aim to catch fish like wahoo, tuna, and barracuda. The dolphins and large sea turtles will pass by our boat as we wait and observe them. Additionally, we can go snorkeling or just do a tour activity close to the coast of our own stunning Bonaire.

Argen, (pronounced AR-EE-N) was easy to get hold of via text when our cruise ship pulled into Bonaire. I waved at him from our balcony and he met our party of four at the public swimming pool pier. Nice boat with a brand new Suzuki outboard and just the right amount of electronics for catching fish. Argen is very kind and has an interesting background. Our entire group was fond of him almost immediately. We monitored marine radio and it was clear that no other boats had caught anything. We actually caught a small tuna and once barracuda. Unfortunately, we lost one wahoo that was hooked and another that ripped line but failed to hook up due to the speed it hit at while maintaining its forward momentum. Give Argen a try. He’s a great fisherman with a huge array of lures and quality rods and reels. Thanks for the great adventure Argen! You can also book direct on the FishingDutchman on the internet.

Great trip with my family! Everyone got at least one catch. Arjen was great. Caught some barracuda and a wahoo. Also knew where to take us for some beautiful snorkeling at the end of the trip. Would book again

We scheduled a 1/2 day trip. Arjen was a great communicator and everything was very smooth. My kids had a great time! When we forgot our water bottles on the boat he even went out of his way to deliver them to us.

Arian was amazing. From the time we booked out trip to the arrival time and the experience he was top notch. He put us on fish, took us to a snorkel spot and was absolutely a gentleman the entire time. I would highly recommend using him! It’s incredible to have the entire boat to yourself.

The Dutchman was awesome. We had a great time fishing and the we snorkeled in the most beautiful place. He is so much fun and knows what he is doing. We use him again for sure.

We were picked up at 6.30 to go fishing with the family. During the trip we sailed to various places along the coast and Klein Bonaire to find fish. While sailing, I received a lot of explanation about the different fish, equipment and options for catching fish and Arjen also took the time for just a chat... Caught 3 small tuna. A great experience for the children. Arjen was also very nice to the children. Beautiful experience. At the end we changed gear to try to catch wahoo and baracuda.

The dream finally came true thanks to the fishing dutchman! Yesterday we were able to book a last minute fishing trip just before the end of our holiday! And this was honestly the best experience I could find on Bonaire! Of course it was way too much fun for us and we decided to go out to sea with this wonderful man again, but for a longer period! We got to know him much better and I can guarantee it is worth it! He has a passion, a mission and it is definitely worth it! We had no experience, but we stepped out of the boat with experience thanks to the wisdom and knowledge of the great captain! He also shows you the nicer spots of Bonaire that you cannot find from land! The comfort and knowledge of the captain are definitely worth it! We were able to catch a lot in a whole day, but we were still waiting for a Barracuda! Of course the Barracuda took a little longer to arrive, but in the end one came on board and was of course released again, me and my girlfriend were of course completely over the moon with joy that we were finally able to catch a Barracuda, but the captain was also great luckily for us too! It's like going out to sea with your best friend! You will definitely see us again when we are on Bonaire!!

Yesterday we went fishing all morning with Arjan, it was a very fun morning. Arjan is a sociable and sociable man who does everything he can to ensure that his guests have a good time and really does everything he can to entertain his guests and ensure that there are fish in the boat, even if This means that a little more time is allocated and fishing takes longer than previously planned (in consultation). I have welcomed three beautiful barracudas into the boat myself, which I am very pleased with. Arjan attaches great importance to "catch and release", which apparently is not the case for other fishing charters, who consider earning more important than the future of angling and with which they also disadvantage the local population by offering the caught fish on the market ( local population is not well off). If you want to catch fish in addition to a fun day, I would choose this fishing charter. Thanks Arjan... it was great👍👍👍
