Explore Colorado's Bighorn Sheep Canyon with this half-day river experience. Spend three hours rafting along the Arkansas River, an ideal excursion for first-time rafters and families with kids. Bighorn Sheep Canyon provides beautiful vistas set in a diverse desert ecology, with a variety of Class II and II whitewater rapids. Prepare to have fun and get soaked. There will be an opportunity to stop and swim along the way.

What To Expect
You will be rafting Class III (beginner to intermediate rapids) on the Arkansas River in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado! We run paddle rafts by default, which provide a more participatory experience for our guests. Oar boats or Oar assist can be requested in advance.

5.00Our family had never gone rafting before, so we decided this would be a great way to celebrate our 19 year old daughter's birthday. We were greeted warmly by Matthew and Kim the moment we stepped out of our vehicle and as soon as we walked inside. Matthew ended up being our very knowledgeable, comedic, and fun tour guide who made this day a memory we won't forget. We'll definitely be back next year! It was our family's 1st time & we'll be back next year!

5.00The way things worked out, we ended up on a private tour with Matthew who was an awesome guide. We had the river to ourselves and saw lots of Big Horn Sheep. Towards the end, we had the opportunity to swim but opted to just hang out. Everyone at Lost Paddle was friendly and made this such a great experience. This tour would be perfect for families with young children and first time adventurers. If you're looking for a taste of white water rafting, we recommend you give them call.

5.00What a great outfit, led by a supremely customer-focused Kelly, who occupied our children when another group on our trip were running late, by sitting down with them and playing card games. She made a difficult situation fun. And then Gigi our guide on the raft was exceptionally patient with my nervous 10 year old. All the guides were brilliant - confident, professional, fun and clearly love what they do. When the rafts are pretty much the same, the river, the rapids all the same - it can only come down to customer service and customer experience. We got it in raft loads. Thanks y'all (in Gigi's words).

5.00This adventure was amazing. My husband and I along with my two daughters ages 22 and 11 went on this white water rafting experience. We have never done this before and of course my momma heart was a little freaked out on what could happen. Our guide Lawrence was the BEST! He made the adventure so much fun he was funny and did additional things to make the trip fun!! I would so do this adventure again and ask for Lawrence to be our guide 10 out of 10 for sure!!

5.00What a blast! This is a small family ran business. You can tell from the moment you arrive they all enjoy what they do and work hard to make sure you and your family have the best experience possible. Our guide was Tyler and we really appreciated the way he helped make everyone feel comfortable, especially our 11 year old. Skip the corporate ran outfits, these people are the best!
