We begin riding out from Tirana’s Old Bazaar, one of the city’s most popular daytime attractions. This lively area, known for its traditional market, local cafes, and street art, is flat and easy to cycle — perfect for starting our cycling tour.
Skanderbeg Square
Our adventure begins at the vibrant heart of Tirana, Skanderbeg Square. This central plaza, spanning 40,000 square meters, is surrounded by iconic landmarks like the National History Museum, Opera House, and National Bank. The square is named after Albania’s national hero, Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg, and features his impressive 11-meter-tall statue. The square’s eclectic mix of architecture showcases Tirana’s diverse history, from Ottoman-era structures to Fascist and Communist influences, creating a fascinating backdrop for our exploration.

We only had 1 day in Tirana and this was the perfect trip to see the city without feeling rushed. Our guide Leon was very informative and we learnt a lot about Tirana’s past. Plenty of photo opportunities and a stop off by the lake for a drink where we learned about life in Albania. Leon also provided some great recommendations for restaurants. Highly recommended this tour and Leon was a great guide 🙂

This was a great way to see the city, and we went to some interesting places. Leon, our guide, was super friendly and patient.

I booked the bike tour through Tirana. It turned out that I was the only one having booked the manual, non-electric option, so I was lucky enough to have a private tour with my guide Leon. The tour took us to many of the most important sites in Tirana such as the Skanderbeg square, Berlin Wall part, artificial lake and park, Air Albania Stadium, or the Namazgah Mosque. Leon was not only a well-informed tour guide, but also great company. I enjoyed the conversations about Albania and the rest of the world. 100% recommendation!

Leon was a wonderful guide with a strong interest in history and sharing what he knows. The e-bike I rented was easy to use. However, you do ride in and out of traffic sometimes and it was always busy street scene. I didn’t have any trouble keeping up and Leon made sure we were ok.

Genci is a great tour guide! The tour itself, the e-bike, the route, the stories, the speed, the insights, all was great! I was the only one on the tour and Genci still gave it to me. I'm so thankful for it as it was my only chance to take this tour and get to know Tirana in a deeper level. I totally recommend!

Excellent tour of the centre of the city on first class bikes. In a leisurely 3 hour trip we were given loads of information on the history of the city (and the country) through a visit to key sites like the bazaar, Skanderbeg Square, the Pyramid, the lake and of course one or two of Hoxha's bunkers. Our guide Leon spoke excellent English and took us safely around some busy sections of the route. He talked with enthusiasm and knowledge of the politics, history and geography of the city. Many thanks!

Very fun and exciting bike ride through Tirana. We cycled past the most famous places and our guide Antonio told us with great enthusiasm about the history of Tirana. After the bustle of the city we cycled along the lake and forests. Highly recommended when visiting Tirana. Thanks Antonio!

We booked a bike tour through Tirana last minute today. Antonio was a fantastic guide. Told a lot about the city and its history, defied lovely stop by the water and traffic in the city 🤣. Which is really doable. Because of this, we were able to see a large part of the city in a short time. Absolutely recommended!

You get a very nice & interesting guided tour of Stivi. We were lucky enough to have a private tour. Stivi knows a lot about Tirana, told very interesting facts and even guided an hour longer. Price quality a top tour you should definitely book at Stivi ! Hugely friendly, helpful and cordial.
