5.00Through the tour, we gained a great insight and valuable overview of the most important sights of Vilnius. Very comfortable bikes and an engaged guide made the tour a pleasure despite the rain. We received interesting information about historical and current developments at many fascinating stops.

Be prepared for some steeper sections on the bike routes, so good biking skills and the ability to keep pace with the group are essential. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information. However, the presentation was somewhat dry and straightforward. Adding some humor and a more relaxed tone could make the tour more engaging.

5.00Avitalis runs this bike store which offers bikes for hire and tours. I did a tour and hired an e bike for a few hours. The tour was a fabulous way of seeing Vilnius. Great service, great e bikes and a great tour.

5.00Fantastic tour, and great way to see the city. Highly recommend the team, they had great knowledge. They also extended our tour by about 30 minutes to cater for us to have a look around at a couple of locations (which was really appreciated by everyone).

5.00I had the bike tour with Domas, he was very knowledgeable of the history and current culture and politics of Lithuania. He gave us an excellent overview of the landmarks in Vilnius and his personal stories growing up there with all the political changes over the years. I learned a lot and felt more connected with the mentality of the locals.

5.00Fantastic experience! Our guide Dominique was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful, and safely navigated us around the city to cover all of the main sites. There were 3 of us on this tour plus our guide. I especially liked being able to cycle through some of the green spaces in the city too, this was a pleasant surprise that I hadn’t expected but really enjoyed.

Domas was a very knowledgable guide, explaining the history and I really appreciated him doing the tour even though I was the only person booked mid week and the weather wasn’t so great. The tour was great - lots of stops in the old town, around the city and cycling along the river. A ‘must do’ if visiting Vilnius

5.00Biking is one of my favorite ways to get oriented in a new city and Vilnius is perfect for it. It's pretty much flat and I always felt safe riding the bike on the streets of Vilnius. During the tour we managed to cover a lot of grounds, exploring sites in Vilnius from different eras, from the historical to the modern. Domas is an amazing guide - knowledgeable, genuinely passionate about the city, and very happy to answer all of my questions along the way. Despite covering a lot of places, history, and new information, he has a talent for making it feel accessible and easy to follow. I left the tour with a deeper appreciation of Vilnius, its muticultural history, and resilience as a city. Sadly I was only in Vilnius for a short time. When I'm back in Vilnius I won't hesitate to join other tours offered by Bike Vilnius Velotakas.
