This tour and Ian were absolutely magnificent. The knowledge Ian possesses and how he relayed it to us was perfect. He was very personable and very engaging, plus he gave us plenty of time at each location to fully understand the history. The Crumlin Road Gaol was a self guided tour and very worthwhile to visit. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone who has the time and desire to learn about a very important part of Northern Ireland history.

What an exceptional, personal and authentic experience I had with Dan H. last Sunday! Dan was personable, engaging and tremendously thought provoking. My tour lasted three hours and nothing was repeated. Dan took me to some of the most shocking and fantastic scenes in the Belfast landscape and provided not only historical but contemporary facts that are still prevalent today in the community. I am so grateful for this opportunity and to be paired with Dan. Please make the time, you will not regret it. Thank you Dan and Belfast.

A mesmerizing experience! My guide, Martin, was amazing and very insightful about the history of the places we were passing by while driving. I found myself interested in every little detail that was being revealed. Poignant moments: passing through the gates that separate the communities and definitely the prison. While wandering through the prison, I felt like I was a prisoner there as well. The rest.... well, you have to see for yourself :)

We booked our guided tour knowing a little bit about the troubles but what an experience it turned out . Our cab driver Brian lived through it as a young boy and gave us his account, I must say it was so in depth and extremely emotional. I would strongly recommend this tour to all who are interested the history of Belfast .The murals , remembrance gardens and peace wall are something I will never forget.

We had Danny - what a brilliant guy, very informative and gave us a true insight into the area and what went, and still goes on. I could have travelled round and listened to Danny’s knowledge and own experiences all day. Highly recommend this tour, especially as I was quite naive as to the current situation of affairs. After our tour Danny dropped us off and took us into the Gaol and gave us good information on how to get back to the city centre (especially on a wet January morning) Great experience that everyone should go on

Danny L was a great guide for this tour, speaking from experience he really brought things to life. Still need to get started on all the homework he gave us though 🤣 Would recommend this to any one visiting Belfast with little or no prior knowledge of the troubles and even those who think they know!

Isaac was so friendly and informative today. He totally put us at ease and told the story of the troubles from both sides with no judgement or bias. He gave us a lot of information to take in, plenty of stops to take photos. I would like to go back and do it all again now! Highly recommend this company who are owned by both Catholic and protestant.
