Rose Hall Great House
This Rose Hall Great House is an early 18th century plantation home that sits on a high elevation on thousands of acres in Rose Hall, Montego Bay. The Rose Hall Great House was once owned by the famous and certainly one of the wickedest plantation owners to walk the land of Jamaica, Annie Palmer. She owned hundreds of slaves. This house became haunted after her gruesome death in 1831. The house is scary to look at even in the daytime. There is no stop at the Rose all Great House on your way to Negril however, your tour guide will tell you the history and slow down so that you can take photos.
Greenwood Great House
The Greenwood Great House (Plantation home) was constructed in the early 18th Century. Like most, if not all the other Great Houses in Jamaica, the Greenwood Great House was built at high elevation. One could say that this was a strategy used back in the plantation era as a means of overlooking the plantation and also for security purposes. This house, unlike the Rose Hall Great House, is not haunted but of a more peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The history and the architecture of the house is what will blow you away. As you pass by, feel free to take photos when your tour guide slows down.

5.00This tour is amazing! Great experience. You have to take this tour. We had “Stay alive when you drive with Clive” as our tour guide/driver. Really nice and very knowledgeable about Jamaica. Your items that you bring will be well protected. Everything is locked. Dive and don’t be a chicken … lol.. The tour company that manages this tour was great to work with as well.

5.00This trip was a 2:30 hours drive from the hotel but starting with the pick up everything was amazing the driver Curt did everything possible to makes us happy! The blue hole was a dream too much fun. This is a must do when in Jamaica. If you can ask for Curt as your driver he had the patience with us he even took us to KFC…

5.00The Blue Hole was okay, I wouldn't do it again because it really wasn't much to do. But Dunn's River Fall was the best, I done it 12 years ago and itis still fun and exciting!!! Will definitely recommend it to family and friends!!!

5.00This trip was one of my top 5 best experiences of my life so far! It was so thrilling to cliff jump and swing at blue hole and hike up the gorgeous waterfalls at dunns river. Be warned: it is a lot of driving. From start to finish it was a 12 hour day. But our guide, Marlon, made it all worth it. We learned a lot about Jamaica and experienced a lot of Jamaican culture throughout the trip. Our lifeguards at both locations were incredibly kind and helpful. I would recommend bringing a waterproof phone protector and some water shoes. I didn’t wear water shoes at blue hole and I was fine, but most people were wearing water shoes. You NEED them at dunns River falls though. You can buy water shoes at dunns River falls for $10, but this comes after blue hole. Also make sure you bring enough cash to tip your driver, your guards at each location, and for lunch (it’s not included. You can pay for lunch with a card). Bring water too!
