The cruise takes in the majestic Yasawa Islands and spends time at the strikingly beautiful Modriki and Sacred Islands. It’s not just nature that will have you captivated on this cruise; you’ll get to know and love the traditional Fijian culture!
To ensure you have the best possible cruise experience, we use 'flexible cruising'. What this means is that we're prepared to alter our itineraries, either when necessary, or when some exciting opportunity arises. if some special event taking part in a local Village, which you really should see, then we will alter our cruise route to take you there. If we think that our destined anchorage for the night is not going to be as sheltered as a bay on the other side of the island, we'll up-anchor and move. Cruising through a region of coral lagoons and isolated island anchorages is weather dependent and so, at times, our itineraries may need to be altered. We'll always endeavor to ensure all highlights of each cruise are enjoyed by our guests.
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

We got a complimentary pick up from our Denarau Hotel. Check in was a bit frenetic but was fine. Our suitcase was then transferred to the ship directly while we had a day at the Malamala Beach Club (would recommend upgrading to a beach cabana with butler service if you want some quiet ) We were then awaiting the tender transfer to the ship that happened later than we expected (ie Fijian time) We were probably on the ship at 5 and went to our cabin to change for the Captain's dinner, thinking we had missed the quick trip to Castaway Island. This was then announced but we had already changed into non- beach clothes so didn't go. The welcome from the crew with individual handshakes was lovely and they were so friendly and lovely at all times. One crew member even summoned the reef sharks to the ship with a special call he'd learnt in his village from his grandfather. We were on the 3 night option and stayed in an Orchid Upper deck room. I agree with some fellow passengers that there was nowhere to relax in the cabin unless you laid on the bed, but it was perfect to watch the islands drift buy sitting in the shade of the bar with the fans going and an expertly mixed mocktail/cocktail between trips. Enough storage for us and you get used to the bathroom. The AC was efficient and we slept well We don't snorkel so did the glass bottom boat option to see the coral and reef sharks (also saw dolphins from the ship that day which the Captain announced ) Later we visited Soso Village and were welcomed by the chief and an Elder- with a quick visit to the school. You are given instructions on respecting local customs with regards to attire (you get a complimentary beach bag with sarongs, water bottles and toiletries) The next day we returned to the village for a church Service- such amazing harmonic singing. There was afternoon tea on the beach (well in the shade near the beach) One afternoon we had swimming on an idyllic beach where the crew had set up chairs/umbrellas and later afternoon tea. We were bid farewell with more singing by the crew as we swapped over with the 4 day arrivals. The food was good and the tender crews very good at helping people in and out of the boat. Our room was kept clean and we loved the complimentary laundry service with items delivered back the same day. I think they are maybe replacing the ship with a newer one this year, but we had a great time on the existing one and met some lovely crew and passengers.

Hate to admit it was not perfect for us, because we do not swim, snorkel or participate in water activities. Must say most of the guests really enjoyed the activities on offer every day, and it was very well organised. The food choices were very varied and for sure everybody’s taste would be adequately catered. The barman knew how to mix true cocktail's. The captain was a very approachable and pleasant, and it was a pleasure inter-reacting with him. The cabins though not luxurious, were adequate. The best part of the cruise was the staff. Here’s my problem, I do not want to name any names, because I risk missing some very deserving names. In summation, every single member of staff I encountered were extremely helpful and efficient. I am going to resist the temptation to write an entire book about all the help I was offered. I very big thank you to all.

I was impressed with the excellent service and professionalism of your team, as well as the food and Activities! The Day to Day activites although the weather was on our side, still made the cruise even more exciting and beautiful.

Everyone is so friendly and the cruise was too short. Everything was perfect, even in the rain! I would like to especially commend Joe (only on board for a month) and Api and Reapi for always knowing our names and having a ready greeting! But, everyone was warm and friendly! The bed was comfy and the gifts for each guest were perfect!

What a wonderful trip! Many opportunities for snorkeling and the equipment fit perfectly. Also loved the village tour and opportunity to attend a church service, complete with beautiful singing and two rows of fidgety young boys in front of where I was sitting -- some things are the same the world over... The food was delicious and it's a good thing I didn't go on a longer trip or my clothes might not fit anymore--with the morning and afternoon tea there were 5 meals a day. Cabin and bed were very comfortable--small but who needs to hang out in a cabin when the weather is perfect and there is ample seating out on the decks. Also had a lovely massage at very reasonable price (less than I pay at home). What made this trip especially memorable, however, was the crew -- who amazingly learned our names basically instantly (we were given name tags to wear when we boarded) and were so warm and wonderful. I was travelling solo and the staff went out of their way to engage me in conversation and include me. There was a couple on board who apparently have been doing a BlueLagoon cruise for years, and I can see why! If I get back to Fiji I will definitely be choosing another BlueLagoon cruise -- probably the 4-day one so I will see different islands. Tip: Next time I will bring more Fijian money with me on the cruise -- not necessary on board but I would have bought more at the village if I'd had more funds.

We were so disappointed! A way over priced for "FAMOUS BLUE LAGOON". We did 30 year BL return and took our family. We have been on MANY small small ships around the tropic in the world. You could find other better live a board boats FIJI cruises. Food was terrible, and they could have found a better islands with weather change. We have been on other cruises and island stays in Fiji, many times, so I know they could have done better. They didn't seem to care and just doing the bare minimal. No more friendly service. Also, there were cockroaches in the dining room. I also saw them in our orchid cabin, I thought I was mistaken. It was not worth almost US$ 6000 for 3 night cruise for 2 cabins. What a disappointment!! I wouldn't recommend it. For less than 1/4 price, you'd do better.

May 16 2024 We want to thank you all for a most wonderful time on the beautiful Fiji Princess. The Captain, Lucy and all the crew were so welcoming, friendly, helpful and patient. We booked the 3 night cruise as we had never cruised before and we weren't quite sure how we would go. We now wish we had booked the 7 night cruise! It was fabulous. Our well stocked cabin, no 16, was very comfortable and clean. The ship had various areas to either, relax in private, or socialise with other passengers. The activities, on board and off, offered fun and great variety. The food was plentiful and delicious. We felt safe and well looked after at all times. Choices were offered daily. Suitable options were arranged when wind or tide disrupted the itinerary, which was only twice across our 4 days. We got to experience much of Fiji's natural beauty and culture. The crew's smiling faces and singing was a highlight for us. We can't thank you all enough for one of our best holidays ever. It made our 40th wedding anniversary very special. BULA BULA BULA yeehahhh, is still ringing in my ears! Vinaka, JF and Mark.

The tour itself was amazing! Places we visited were out of this world (for example Soso village). The cruise members were excellent. Ben was very helpful and cheerful all the time. Nau had excellent energy on the ship and outside the ship. Lele was very energetic and always attentive. Captain Jitoto explained to us everything in detail about the journey and had amazing energy. Bill, the engineers (Greg), Reapi, Anasa, Japi, Wati, and the rest of the cruise members were very friendly and open. I loved every second of it. Overall experience was wonderful even if it was only for a short time!
