What To Expect
Boa Vista
The tour will start driving towards Praia de Chaves. Praia de Chaves is a sandy beach in the proximity of Sal Rei, you will pass close a prominent chimney that is standing near the cost, that was used for artisanal production of pottery and ceramic, to then stop at the sandy dunes of the beach. After a little bit of relax and some pictures, you will continue your tour passing through Morro de Areia, an expansive golden stretch near the coast, to reach Praia de Verandinha and its natural stunning arch that emerges from the cliff. The tour then continues to reach Praia de Curralinho, better known as Santa Monica Beach. Santa Monica is the biggest beach in Boa Vista and in Cape Verde, with a length of more than 20km. Here you will stop for a quick bath in the Ocean. After the stop in Santa Monica you will head to Boca Beach, before heading back to your hotel on the main road

5.00We did the northern tour first and enjoyed it so much that, on the same day, we decided to book the southern one as well. Both experiences were really well organized and enjoyable. Fabrício has been professional, likeable and engaging from the start. He picks you up directly from the hotel at the agreed time and, along the way, explains everything clearly: how the tour will take place, the duration, the various stops and also a little bit of history of the island. You can clearly see that he loves his land and manages to transmit this to others in a natural way, without being forced — and it is far from obvious. The pace is well managed: at each stage you have the right free time to enjoy the scenery and relax, while at some stops, when conditions allow, there is also the possibility of swimming. Fresh water is always provided during the tour, a detail much appreciated. A fun experience, well organized and made even more enjoyable by Fabrício’s energy and professionalism. Recommended 😊

5.00I did the South of the Island tour with Hendrick and had such a great time! He was really nice and kind from the start, and he made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole tour. He’s a great driver—not just on the regular roads but also on the dunes, which was honestly impressive and a lot of fun. I always felt safe with him. He answered all my questions patiently and was a very good listener, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I’m really happy I had Hendrick as my guide. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a fun, relaxed, and well-guided tour!
