What To Expect

Bob Marley Mausoleum

Your driver/your guide ensures all COVID-19 protocols are observed at every stage of your tour. Your tour guide will meet and escort you from your hotel lobby or the cruise port, to your sanitized, air conditioned transportation. A comfortable drive along the scenic North Coast takes you to ascend the 914 meters (3,000 feet) elevation up to ‘Nine Mile.’ At Nine Mile you will see Bob Marley's first home, his Mausoleum, meditation rock and a display of some of his records and memorabilia. A dynamic reggae band is on hand playing Marley's hits as you complete your tour and you can pick up souvenirs from the gift shop. Light refreshments will be provided by your JMAC driver/tour guide. As a bonus, your tour will pass one of Jamaica’s main bauxite mines, the landing place of Christopher Columbus, numerous local towns, and breathtaking views of Caribbean Sea almost at hands reach for much of the drive. “Unforgettable” is the word most visitors use to describe this experience.

This excursion was amazing! There is a long slow ride up to the actual site, but so worth it! Anthony was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Bob Marleys compound is a wonderful, peaceful place! Yeah Mon!

First let me say Mr. Junior was the best. He was on time, respectful, Kind, Caring, informative and made sure we were safe. The tour was nice and we had a great time. The drive is long so make sure you tip well! I became not well on the tour and Mr. Junior was right there to assist. I truly appreciated his effort of making sure I was okay. He’s an amazing tour guide. The activity was very nice thanks to the guide that explained us everything and he made us understand the bob Marley’s story even if two of us didn’t speak English very well. He was very nice with us and he made sure we were having fun. I truly recommend him as Tour guide and I recommend to go nine miles

Me and my mom enjoyed JMac so much we had him take us on two tours! He even came and picked us up and took us to the airport when it was time for us to leave… We will definitely be using JMac for all our Jamaica vacations. He made us feel safe, and was very knowledgeable about Jamaica! 10 out of 10! My mom is a huge Bob Marley fan and he was even able to share some knowledge with her about Bob that she didn’t know, which is very hard to do!

My experience is 5 out of 5. Firstly, this is my first time going to see Bob Marley house. Junior, the driver with the Mac tour, was very educated on the history of Jamaica. He was very patient and professional. The tour was very interesting and I would recommend him to my friends. I will be taking my daughters, and I would love for him to. He, my driver. Junior was a terrific guide for our private tour. We were very pleased with the vehicle and refreshments provided.
