We had a fantastic experience. We met our guide and the rest of our small group of six people. Our guide was inviting and described the local delicacies with enthusiasm and great knowledge. We toured the shops selling fresh meats, cheeses, pastas, and baked goods, collecting the local delicacies for sampling over wine at the oldest osteria in the city. Next our guide took us to a restaurant, telling us more about the city and pointing out landmarks along the way. We tried two local pasta dishes with wine, then topped off the experience with a delicious ice cream. Fantastic experience for someone just arriving in Bologna.

I had a wonderful time on this tour. Valentina Fabbri was an excellent guide. She was very knowledgeable and personable and made the tour feel more engaging and enjoyable. The food was delicious and just the right amount that I was satisfied without feeling overly stuffed. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to see Bologna and its food scene!

Really fantastic food and wine, I wish I could remember the tour guide's name but she was fantastic and her knowledge of the meat and cheese of the region made it so memorable.

An absolutely brilliant snapshot of Bologna with Stephania! Her easy going, friendly manner was very engaging. Her English is excellent. The pace was perfect… the food and drink delicious. A comprehensive tour which not only introduced us to traditional foods and historic establishments … she made the city’s history come alive.

Please take this tour. Especially Valentina Fabbri was fantastic. She tells a lot about the area and the traditions of Bolognese food culture. She is very easy going and excellent English speaker. Gelateria Gianni was the best.

This tour was a perfect balance of walking, Information, food tasting and drinking. Our guide Stefania was very friendly, knowledgeable and interesting. The only improvement we could suggest would be to include a selection of tomatoes from the market with the cheese and pork cold cuts. We think it would have been nice to taste the various different types of tomatoes as this would be a very different experience for us. This doesn’t take away from the tour as it exists it is merely a suggestion.
