Valentina was an amazing tour guide!!! She gave us some great insights about the city and highlighted many of the cities best spots to eat and drink. During our tour, we stopped at several market shops and got to sit down in 4 different places to enjoy apertivo, appetizers, fresh pasta and gelato.

We had a fantastic Bologna food tour with Valentina! The choice of locations was outstanding – each station offered authentic, high-quality food that perfectly reflects Bologna’s culinary diversity. I found it particularly positive that there were also very good vegetarian alternatives, so that everyone really got their money's worth. Valentina led the tour with a lot of knowledge, passion and good mood. The atmosphere in the group was relaxed and cheerful, and you immediately felt comfortable. A completely successful experience with great insights into local cuisine – highly recommended!

This tour was very disappointing for the price. There were 4 food stops. The first one was a traditional snack, that was interesting. The second stop was cheese, bread, meat and wine. Couldn’t fault that, it was lovely. The main stop was the pasta and it was very poor. It had little flavour and was served with cheap wine. Most of the tour didn’t finish the meal it was that much of a let down. The last stop was a gelato shop with every flavour under the sun available, which sounds great but is a sure sign it isn’t authentic gelato. Lastly the tour guide was very quiet and didn’t set a fun tone for the tour. However he did give good information on the city and its history. For the food capital of Italy this was a let down. I’ve been on a few food tours for similar price point and this tour didn’t live up to the standards that are out there.
