We’ll begin with Tigella, a versatile and iconic dish served as a pre-aperitivo, followed by a variety of cold cuts, cheeses, and bread from the Bologna area, paired with local wines at the city’s oldest osteria. Strolling through the historic center, you’ll enjoy two beloved homemade pastas—Tortellini and Tagliatelle—at a traditional Osteria Bolognese, perfectly complemented by more local wine.
To conclude, we’ll visit the best gelateria in town for an unforgettable gelato. This is your chance to eat, drink, and experience Bologna’s culinary traditions like a true local!

5.00We had such a wonderful time on this food tour. The food and wine of course was amazing but we really appreciated the local stories from Eugenio, our guide. He had so much knowledge of this region and answered all of our questions. It was also really fun being part of a group from other parts of the world.

5.00This experience was one of our favorite parts of our Italy trip! Our tour guide, Roberta, was fantastic! She made us feel welcomed, shared food history and backstory to all the shops we visited, sharing insight on Italian culture, and had an obvious love of connecting with people. From starting with the “tigelle” to ending one of the oldest wine bars in history and gelato, our time was well spent and our bellies full. I would recommend this tour to all my family and friends. She is a "Bolognese DOC", took us to very local places and shared a lot of information about food and culture. You could tell she is really passionate about her local traditions and eager to share them with others, which made the experience even more special. Highly recommended!

5.00Our guide, Stefani, was fantastic. We had ended up with a private tour because the others had dropped out. Stefani was not phased, she shared lots of information about the town in addition to the food facts. We walked all around with several stops, eating and drinking in each spot. Stefani was nice enough to also share recommendations about Modena when we mentioned we would also visit there, and she sent me recipes. A great experience in every way!

5.00Awesome experience. Did this tour on our first night in Bologna and it was a wonderful way in which to learn about the City and to experience a local scene. Well selected food and wine and plenty of it. INCREDIBLE guide, great company on the tour, and we would do this again and again. As a restaurant owner from the States I appreciated how it got us oriented to the City so when we woke up the next day we were ready to take on the food scene in this wonderful City. GREAT experience. Do it!
