What To Expect
20 min drive. Leaving the cruise port we will drive along the midwest coast and you will see the Flamingo Airport and the teamo beach. For snorkelers and divers it is attractive to explore the Te Amo reef.
Salt Pier
Using Bonaire's salt, sea and wind, salt accumulates in impressive crystal formations. Bonaire's salt pyramids can be seen upon arrival by sea or air, each about 50 feet high and containing about 10,000 tons of 99.6% pure salt. The salt pier juts out into the Caribbean and is where the salt is transferred from the pile to the boats that will transport the salt around the world.

4.00Our group of five planned this to join another group of cruise friends. We thought it would be a smaller tour group. However, it worked out OK. It was nice to have a tour of the island with some of the history and a couple stops, and then time at the beach was welcome. This particular beach was pretty shallow for a long way out, which was great for shorter people. The water was warm and very clear.

5.00Kiki was very informative about the island . On time and got us back to cruise port in ample time. Very informative about the animals on the island donkeys and flamingos. The salt mines were interesting and the pink color on the he water. She took her time with questions and answers when not driving

5.00I was not aware that my time was actually 1 hour behind the local time therefore when I showed up to check-in for the tour I was 45 minutes late instead of being fifteen minutes early. However since more tours were still running I was able to go on the next scheduled tour. The tour guide who was also the driver of our bus was very knowledgeable, receptive and informative.

2.00we paid through Viator. we got to the pick up site and we're told we had to wait so they could fill more seats. 30 minutes past time we left. then we found out the other passengers paid way less than we did. tour was disappointing...
