Coral Gardens
The Coral Garden in Bora Bora is a stunning underwater paradise, located just off the main island in the lagoon. Known for its vibrant marine life and crystal-clear waters, it's a top snorkeling and diving destination where visitors can swim among colorful coral reefs, tropical fish, and sometimes even stingrays. The Coral Garden offers a serene and immersive experience, showcasing Bora Bora's natural beauty and biodiversity in a setting that feels both untouched and magical.
Bora Bora is famous for its encounters with graceful manta rays, especially around the Anau area in the lagoon. These gentle giants, with wingspans that can reach up to 20 feet, glide through the water in mesmerizing loops, feeding on plankton. Many tours offer snorkeling and diving trips to see the manta rays up close, especially early in the morning when they're most active. Known for their calm nature, manta rays in Bora Bora offer a breathtaking and peaceful underwater experience for divers and snorkelers alike, making them one of the highlights of Bora Bora's marine life.

What a special day. You won’t regret it. Our captain, Chris, was fantastic! We were fortunate to come across and play with a pod of about 12 dolphins. Saw many many fish and sharks while snorkeling. Best of all were the rays: stingrays, mantarays and eagle rays. Lunch was the best food we’d had and after lunch was a good cultural education and learned how amazing coconuts really are. This was such a special opportunity and Chris really delivered a great experience.

It is 4 times that we participate in this lagoon day, with family or friends. Chris is a very good guide, his kindness accompanies us on this day. The motu Fanfan is idyllic! We'll be back, for sure! The apotheosis is the visit to the coral garden near the old motu of Paul Émile Victor! A delight!

We had a great time exploring the waters of Bora Bora, swimming with the sharks and rays and viewing the many colourful fish in the crystal clean water. Our only disappointment was that we thought this would be a more private excursion however when we went for the motu lunch a large boat loaded with cruise ship passengers joined us. We were at the motu first but had to wait for the cruise passengers to arrive, and then they were sent to eat first "because they had to get back to their ship sooner". Some even went for seconds before our group hit to eat leaving slim pickings for our group. We didn't starve by any means, but it did slightly tarnish our experience.

Really nice trip from beginning to end. Beautiful views and good snorkling spots, got to see manta rays, sharks, stingrays, a nice lunch on a motu and much more.

We loved swimming with sharks. Our guide was too conscientious. He took care of my spouse who does not snorkel. Given the shallow depth she could see them near her.
