  My husband and I did the sunrise Borobudur, Merapi jeep tour and Prambanan. Our driver Bhimo was fantastic - he drove well, the car was clean and he was happy to chat and answer any questions we had. He handed us over to 3 amazing tour guides at our destinations; all of whom were knowledgeable and again happy to answer questions. There was no rush or pressure and we had a fantastic day.   Borobudur temple is an amazing place everyone should see. You get your own slippers that you can keep after the tour if you want. The guides are very professional and the visit duration is just fine. For merapi, we visited the bunker that was built to protect the people from hot ashes after the explosion, but failed in 2006 due to too much lava and a memorial place for the victims. We did not see the volcano itself due to clouds. Prambanan temple is a remarkable place of hindu architecture that is still being repaired ( a lot of little towers collapsed in an earthquake). You get to visit all 4 rooms of the main ( siwa) temple and are free to roam the park and other smaller temples in it. However, the Sewu temple was unavailable due to unknown reasons ( signs only in local language).

  The trip with our Guide Bhimo was super confortable. He took care of everything and we could just enjoy the Borobudur. The Merapi Lava Tour was a little disappointing, we couldn't see the Merapi because of the Clouds and the rest of the Tour was no real Vulcano feeling as we expected.

  I went to Borobudur, Merapi, and Prambanan on my tour. There’s some distance between each of the sites—the tour begins at 7 and ends in the late afternoon—but everything was organized well and in advance, which made for a streamlined experience. Hendra, the driver who took me to the different sites, was great: friendly, helpful, and enjoyable to talk to.

  I’d like to share my experience in Yogyakarta with Bhimo, an excellent driver and local guide. Everything was super easy and well organized—always punctual and very willing to help. He took me without any issues to all the places I wanted to visit and, on top of that, he took the time to explain things and show me details at each stop—it wasn’t just “a ride and that’s it.” Bhimo is very kind, attentive, and patient, and you can tell he truly tries to give you the best possible experience as a local guide. I highly recommend him if you’re in Yogyakarta and want to visit different points of interest with someone you can trust.

  I've seen a lot of positive reviews and recommendations on the internet for Borobudur Sunrise and wasn't disappointed. I did realize it was a little pricey compared to the rest of other internet offers, but think it's well worth every penny for the experience, services, and positive memory. Good communication throughout. Fajar was our driver for the day. Thumbs up for his driving skills: never playing with the phone, looking at text, or losing focus from the roads. Mt. Merapi was pretty, knowing it's still active and can blow anytime give a sense of adventure. Fajar picked out a nice lunch spot that overlooked a rice field. The lunch was delicious, Indonesian sambals are the bombs! The Prambanan was also nice, but quite big. We was tired at the point so just visited the three main temples. Overall, super happy of picking Borobudur Sunrise for our experience, no regret at all!

  We had a very positive experience with the tour and managing the booking. We booked online one day in advance, it was easy and hazzle-free. Out driver Mas Bhimo arrived early, was very attentive and gaveus helpful recommendations along the way. We can fully recommend.
