• Great day activity for tourists in Accra

  - We were picked up at our apartment at around 9 am and everything was fine. The communication regarding the pick up time worked well through WhatsApp. We were in total 3 people and met at lunch with another group of 3 other tourists. - The driver (Emanuel) knew his way around and was super kind - Our highlight was the coca farm and the history behind it - the tour guide was really helpful and knew answers to all our questions - In short, we can fully recommend the day tour. The lunch was very delicious as well (The lunch needs to be paid in cash so take some cedis with you!)

  We had two adults and two children (11 and 16). Overall we were very pleased with the tour and guide. The Boti Falls snd Cocoa Farm visits were very good. Unfortunately we found out that the day we took the tour was a national holiday and the Aburi stop, where we were supposed to have lunch, was full of revelers for a concert event and we had to eat at an a very expensive resort. My recommendation is that the tour operator needs to check in advance for such events and plan accordingly.

  Our guide, Michael was very good as were the other guides. The only problem was the venue for lunch. Despite ringing ahead with the order, after waiting for half an hour they came out to tell us that most of the food was off the menu. Lunch took over 2 hours as each meal came out separately. This meant that we finished our tour of the botanic gardens in complete darkness which was a real shame. That said our guide was very knowledgeable and amusing and did his best in the dark.

  Paid to go on a tour in Aburi. The night before I was called at 10pm. They said the tour guide had an emergency so they were looking for another guide. It got to 11pm and I had to contact them. They said unfortunately they could not find a replacement. I therefore asked for a refund but they wanted to book me in for another date. However I could not commit to a date so asked instead for the refund. After this their communication was close to non existent. They told me they would get back to me and they didn’t. Very disappointed. First time booking with this company. Originally spoke to Emmanuella and then Peter Mensah. After this they stopped any communication via both whats app, online and email. Their records will show this happened and they have failed in their customer service.

  Had such a nice trip to Boti Falls everything was well organised and the whole day felt easy and relaxed. The drive from Accra was comfortable, and we had enough time to enjoy the place properly. The waterfall itself was beautiful and very refreshing, definitely worth the visit. The atmosphere was calm, not too crowded, which made it even more enjoyable. Our guide Daniel Kusi was great very friendly, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout. I booked all my tours with them and everything has been consistently good. Best for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-organised day trip from Accra.

  Nature adventure! This was an awesome experience in nature. Thompson was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable of the tour. He also enlightened us on myths from Ghana that was not true. • Unforgettable tour with Emmanuel

  Let me start with the Cons, of which there is only one. I booked this trip last minute on a Friday to go on the Saturday as the previous trip I booked with another operator was unexpectedly cancelled. The website clearly stated I could still book the trip up to about 12 hours before the start date and time. After receiving confirmation, a few hours later and late in the evening I got a call saying that the trip was canceled for that day (no reason given) and that I could choose another day. So, long story short I ended up going on the Sunday and it was a fantastic day. We were a small group of 3 solo travellers and our tour guide Emmanuel was absolutely amazing! He is so intelligent, knowledgeable and articulate, he made it so much fun! It was a long day but I wouldn’t say it was too much walking, and the mini bus was comfortable and air conditioned. Emmanuel gave us lots of opportunities to take pictures, and was able to answer every single question we had regarding history, geography and culture! We started the day visiting the Umbrella Rock and Boti Falls - both were incredible! We stopped for lunch and continued on with the rest of the tour before returning back to our respective accommodations. All in all I would say it is definitely worth the trip and I 100% recommend. Special credit to Mercy at Tetteh Quarshie cocoa farm who was also so full of knowledge and enthusiasm regarding the process of growing and processing Cocoa. I also want to mention our guide at Aburi gardens, whose name I can’t remember for the life of me! He was so passionate, knowledgeable and just made the tour so interesting and fun. Oh, and if you're thinking of booking, bring comfy shoes, and a water bottle - you'll want to stay hydrated!
