What To Expect
We will start our journey in Bovec where you will recieve your e-bike. We will head north cycling along the famous Soča river. Even the cycling itself by this emerald beauty is amazing. When we get to the Soča gorge you will find the color of the river even more astonishing. There we’ll have a break and after continue to see the Šunik water grove. There we’ll be able to walk around many little waterfalls. After spending some time there we’ll head back and stop at a rocky beach where we will have a snack. After the snack and a little refreshment in the river we will continue our journey back to Bovec.

A perfect day with a perfect guide

5.00Exceptionally fun day in ride led by Marco, tour guide extraordinaire. As a couple, we were joined by two others, a mother and daughter, so the day was quite intimate and we had some fun conversations, with both the other couple and Marco. Marco was patient and kind and prepared us well for all stages of the tour. We visited a number of locations that we would have never found by ourselves. The weather was beautiful and after riding for about 2 hours we stopped at an area that had multiple waterfalls and was surrounded by ferns, moss and other natural beauty. While Marco stayed behind with the bikes, we went on about a 25 minutes hike through beautiful scenery. When we returned, he had prepared a picnic for us of local sausage, cheese, fruit, and home-made apple strudel prepared by his girlfriend’s mother. We ended up being out about 5 1/4 hours although this was billed as only a 4 hour tour. The bikes were of high quality and well maintained. I really can’t recommend this tour more highly. A perfect day with a perfect guide.

5.00Our e-bike tour in Bovec with Marco was fantastic. Marco was kind, attentive, spoke perfect English, and he was always aware of the group’s needs, checking in regularly to ensure everyone was comfortable. His knowledge of the Julian Alps and dûtes visited brought the stunning landscapes to life. He guided us safely to some truly breathtaking spots. The packed lunch with homemade elderflower cordial and apple strudel was excellent and perfectly suited to the day’s adventure. There was only one small snag, the directions to the start point were a bit confusing so I had to contact the tour operator directly. They were quick to respond and helped me find where I should be! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bovec, an unforgettable experience!

5.00Led by guide Spela we had a wonderful tour. Splenda is a very nice, spontaneous guide who is involved and attentive during the trip. She suggests options, helps where it is equally difficult and knows the environment very well. Together with 1 other guide she runs their business Active Slovenia Travel. The ebike tour is highly recommended for families looking for a sporty, not too challenging tour that takes you to beautiful places in nature.

5.00Špela was the most amazing tour guide! We saw so much of Soca Valley and beyond, the ebikes allowed us to go so much further than I would have expected! We stopped for a bite to eat, Špela had prepared homemade and local produce which was incredible! I highly recommend doing this tour if you are close to Bovec!

5.00We had such a wonderful time with Špela. She is very kind and patient. My biking ability is basic that she patiently explained the gears, e-bike and carefully guided our rides. The view along the way was amazing. Špela also kindly prepared Slovenian treats for our break. What an experience. Highly recommended. Thank you, Špela! Note: make sure you are fit enough for 3-4 hour ride.

5.00Easy route to do with family. Spela was very attentive at all times. The experience that combines a bicycle, a walk through the Sunnik forest, a (very refreshing) swim in the Soca River and a snack is very pleasant. Everything is great!!
