The Branson Alpine Mountain Coaster is the first thrill ride of its kind in the Branson area. This family friendly coaster uses the hilly topography of the area to provide the fun and excitement your next visit to Branson needs. The unique aspect of a mountain coaster is that it utilizes the natural terrain to make it go. Instead of building invasive lift towers and massive structural supports, we found a big hill and used it to make our coaster in Branson go! Gravity speeds you down the hill through turns, dips and helixes at speeds up to 30 miles per hour.
The total combined rider weight per vehicle cannot exceed 300 pounds.
A lone driver must be at least 9 years old and 52″ tall.
A passenger must be at least 3 years old and 36″ tall.
To ride double, the driver must be at least 16 years old.

Single Driver Ticket Holders must be at least 9 years old & 52" tall. Double Drivers must be at least 16 years old & 52" tall. All drivers & riders must have a ticket (rider tickets must be purchased separately).
For safety, Each cart can hold 1 or 2 people up to 300 pounds--all passengers will be discretely weighed prior to loading.
This attraction is weather dependent--in the event of a weather delay or cancellation you may contact us via phone during business hours for a rain check.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

5.00Second time in Branson, second time at Runaway! Staff is always so pleasant and helpful. They love answering all of my questions!! (Of course they do!!) The coaster is super fun and goes plenty fast! After we are done coastering, we go mining. Multiple activities for all ages. We filled out the waiver and were on the coaster within 5 minutes.

5.00We did the mountain coaster and it ended up being one of those things we’re still talking about after the trip. It’s the perfect mix of fun and just enough adrenaline without feeling out of control. You can control your own speed, which makes it really nice because you can either take it easy and enjoy the views or actually let it go and have fun with it. The track itself is smooth, the turns are just enough to keep it exciting, and it never felt sketchy or unsafe at any point. We went at night, and that made it even better. With all the lights, it honestly felt like Mario Kart in real life, just flying through the turns with everything glowing around you. It’s one of those things that works for pretty much anyone, whether you’re going for something chill or want a little adrenaline. Definitely worth doing if you’re there, and it’s on the cheaper end of thrilling things you can do in this area.

5.00Mountain coasters are a must do activity each time we visit Branson. This trip was no exception! 1st time riding The Runaway: It did not disappoint!!! We absolutely loved it. Smiling & Professional Staff, a budget friendly fee, with easy booking, and the simplicity and ease of the waiver form is great! A few short questions and you’re set. So. Much. Fun.

5.00This was on our checklist of spring break things to do. The whole family had fun and did rerides. We stopped on a Thursday morning and experienced a very short wait for all rides. Will go again.

5.00Experience was amazing! Would recommend buying tickets in advance and completing the necessary waiver online in advance as well. Also, at night it is lit up and would recommend that is when you should ride!
