This hike is all about exploring Table Mountain OFF-THE-BEATEN-PATH with the guidance of a knowledgeable and experienced mountain guide. CHECK THE ITINERARY FOR A VARIETY OF ROUTE OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM.
Santie knows the mountain like the back of her hand, and will take you to some of its lesser-known places and peaks, whilst also sharing her knowledge of the mountain’s fynbos, geology and history in a relaxed manner, without you having to worry about getting lost.
You will not be following the typical tourist paths straight to the top, but rather be exploring some of the incredibly diverse and off-the-beaten-track trails up and which crisscross the mountain wilderness BEYOND Table Mountain’s imposing, flat-topped front face.
Along the way, you will discover unexpectedly spectacular views, secluded valleys and jungle-like forested gorges, little-known rock formations, and hidden flower-lined mountain streams and waterfalls. And... if you so wish, ALSO SUMMIT THE FAMOUS TABLE TOP!

Table mountain is absolutely astonishing among all hiking experiences in my life. The variety of the beauty makes me speechless again and again, lots of the scenes even look like an outer space movie. WoW and WoW it's been 3 days since my guided hike with Santie and my thoughts are clinging onto the memorable moments of my hike. Santie is a true professional of her trade and it's noticeable from the moment you engage with her. The selection of route, the process to follow and her quick response. Everything is detailed and well planned. The information sharing about the mountain's history, the rock formations, fauna, and flora just mind-boggling. There is a sense of comfort you get the moment you meet Santie you just known this will be epic.

We had an exhilirating day in the clouds. Totally covered in mist the experience brought beautiful colours of all the flowers brightly forward. This very knowledgable and experienced guide unlocked a mystical world of strange rockformations and masses of plants. Pure pleasure. You still need to climb the mountain but it was do-able

This is my second extended stay in Cape Town and I have hiked with Santie many times - both on Table Mountain and on other trails in the Western Cape. Every time I have been in the mountains with her has been a very special experience and has created memories that I will treasure for a lifetime. I feel pretty confident in saying that if you decide to join one of Santie's great adventures it will far far surpass your expectations. She has a fabulous schedule of creatively curated group hikes (joined by both locals and visitors) and magical private experiences. You will explore less touched trails, discover hidden caves, drink rooibos tea laced with condensed milk, learn much about the native fynbos, and hike until a deep sense of peace emerges inside. Days hiking with Santie are simply epic!

We did a fynbos walk with Santos on a beautiful bright day in December. She was excellent in her communication and waited for us while we bought tickets. The walk was lovely, while she shared a lot of information about the flora (fynbos) and the geology of the mountain, it was very relaxed and casual. She is very attentive to the group and will make adjustments to accommodate everyone in terms of fitness and interests. She allowed lots of time for photos and surprised us with tea and snacks midway. Booking a trip with her is a great way to explore the mountain and its incredible beauty. She is very generous in sharing her knowledge and experience, and this will be an experience to remember. Thank you Santie!!

The hike started at Suikebossie Hout Bay, up Llandudno Ravine to Judas Peak, then to an even higher peak (I think it is called Grootkop) and then via a few very interesting detours (you will have to do the hike as I am sworn to secrecy) we ended up going down Woody Ravine to Theresa Avenue. The hike is tough, make no mistake, but oh so very very worthwhile. It is not on the bucket list of hikes so the crowds (apart from passing a number of lunatic runners busy with a 100km race) are absent but the views are beyond spectacular. The detours are amazing and the rock formations will live in my memory forever. And Santie is an absolute star when it comes to leading a hike. Informative, very knowledgeable, great sense of humour and really knows the mountains. The 5 star rating is very well deserved.
