What To Expect

You will be using a "hybrid" bicycle, which is perfect for exploring the city. The hire will include a helmet, lock, lights, and pannier bag with tools. You’ll meet at the hire depot, and a mechanic will ensure the bike fits you. You'll also have a map of Bristol to find your way around. Please let us know your height in advance to ensure we have the appropriate bike(s) available. The benefit of hiring a bike is that you will then have free transport for the duration of your trip, and Bristol is the perfect size for cycling, with most places within 1–5 miles of the city center, meaning trips are often as little as 15 minutes. Our bike rental is self-guided, which means there is no guide. You will be able to use Google Maps or a paper map to find your way.

Through a combination of rain, a puncture, an ill child and Alan the dog we ended up not cycling at all! Despite this I still want to give Sam top marks for putting up with our nonsense and trying his best to get us going. Hopefully some day we will see Alan the dog in the trailer! Thanks Sam.

Great service and communication. We picked up the electric bikes right next to the Bath-Bristol path and we were provided with all the essentials including helmet and repair kits. The bikes were great and pick up/drop off couldn’t have been easier.

I rented a walking genesis and it was in perfect condition. Very serious in schedules, agile in delivery / reception and all facilities!! They advised me about the routes in the area and advised me very well. We will repeat for sure!! Thank you very much Sam&Team!

Good quality bikes and a very friendly service. Booked through Yuup and had a lovely time cycling from Bristol to Bath and back. Helmets and lock provided alongside a bike bag and set of tools which did not get used as the bikes were in top shape.

We had great day out along the railway bike lane to Bath. The service and the bikes are good. Keep in mind, this is not a shop but an online service. Sam was very responsive as we were not confortable to pay online in advance but everything went well. And Pete was very kind and patient to prepare the bikes and spoke french with us ❤
