Discover Flanders’ two most enchanting cities and follow your guide on his walking tour way back in time! We take you to Ghent. We visit Saint-Bavo’s Cathedral, home to the world-famous Mystic Lamb painting (optional) and walk along the Castle of the Counts of Flanders, the picturesque medieval harbor and many more highlights.
In Bruges, after lunch you enjoy the view of the peaceful Lake of Love and the picturesque Beguinage. Your guide will explain the stories and secrets behind the city’s history from the Viking period until the end of the Middle Ages. You see literally ‘all’ highlights of Bruges: the Basilica of the Holly blood of Jesus, the Belfry tower, our Lady’s Church, Saint John’s hospital etc. You even have the option to enjoy a pleasant boat trip along the narrow canals, entirely organized by your guide.

Tour description states “English” tour but for some reason tour was conducted in French and English. Having dual languages really interrupts the flow of trying to listen what guide is saying. Not sure why French was included since people who sign up all spoke English

We enjoyed the itinerary very much. Because our guide did not show up at the initial meeting point and met us two hours later in Ghent, we were rushed to see everything in Ghent. Time in the churches was on our own, so it was challenging to balance getting food and seeing the churches in the limited free time we had. Our additional guide Helga in Bruges was fantastic!

What a wonderful day. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy Ghent as much as I did. Bruges was a long time bucket list adventure and worth the wait. Our English speaking guide for Bruges (Rose-Marie De Laere) had incredible knowledge and made that part of the day even more special. Our main guide and driver did a wonderful job getting us around and gave us time to get lunch or shop. A very well planned day!

The tour through Ghent was difficult as it was a large group and unless you were close to the guide you could tell what he was pointing to and talking about, as he didn't wait for everyone to arrive before he talked about buildings etc. There wasn't much time to explore as you had to eat lunch and then get back onto the bus. The group was split up in Bruges which made it better. Bruges is a beautiful city, and we enjoyed that part of the tour with a gentleman from Bruges who had lots of information and ensured we all were there before he explained a site.

We booked this last minute after exploring Brussels for the day. We lucked out with weather - cool but no rain. Bus rides were smooth and no traffic which was nice. We had a good tour of both towns and plenty of free time. Long day but well worth it!!

Great experience on the canals of Bruges! The boat ride allows you to discover the city from another angle, with magnificent views and lots of charm. The guide was pleasant and interesting, with clear explanations along the way. It is an activity to do absolutely to enjoy Bruges, even if the duration is a little short. A very good time, both relaxing and exotic.
