More or less, just a large bus tour with approximately 40 people. Not much depth to the tour although one of the guides in Bruges, Dirk, was great.

A must-see if you are interested in history, architecture or just want to see some more of Belgium outside the big cities! Ghent and Bruges are two smaller cities that have preserved their rich histories well, and a trip through both will feel like a walk through a fairy tale setting! Our guide Johannes was highly knowledgeable and professional (props to him for delivering the tour in 4 languages!); our local guide in Bruges was also fantastic with her thorough knowledge of the city. The price upgrade to join a canal ride at the end is highly recommended - nothing beats seeing an already-beautiful city from the water! One thing to note, the trip WILL take up effectively the entire day, so make sure you prepare enough water or snacks, or be open to try local restaurants (which may be challenging with the time limit at each location).

It was good overall and it doesn’t feel rushed at all, there is always free time to spend when you arrive at each city The guides were fine The optional boat trip in Brugges was enjoyable and it was 20 mins for 15€

We lucked out with the weather - thunderstorm before departure and right after return and sunny in between. Ghent and Bruges are awesome, and definitely worth the money. The drop off location is great also. Right besides all the restaurants at Grand Place, we were seated 5 minutes after drop off (since we made a reservation and bus was on time). That was very thoughtful. I think our overall guide was knowledgeable and friendly. However, he carries no visible sign so a bit hard to follow on our walking tour. Unfortunately, the bus speakers did no good as we sat in the back and can only understand 50% of what is going on. During Bruges, due to regulations we split off into another group with a local guide, and she was very hard to see (did not carry any sign), to understand (she did not use the microphone), and so we did not get much from her. One thing very annoying is that it is a 9am tour. The guide did not tell us anything about bathroom breaks. When my wife ask him, he said walking tour will start immediately but will point out a toilet when we pass by. He never did. Fortunately, i use google maps and found one. Then at Bruges the guide did the same thing, so I asked her, and she did not understand what I meant (to give us a heads up on how soon bathrooms are available). She just led us to the bathroom and say go now. I just came from a Viking tour, and all the guides tell folks about this aspect. Somewhat disappointed with the guides we had on this tour.

Decent tour. Could have spent more time in Ghent than we did so it felt rushed. There is mention of a boat tour in the ad but it doesn’t say it’s cash only to add it during the tour. This would have been nice to know ahead of time to better plan for adding that option. They also said the tour wasn't being cut short because we left much later than planned due to bus issues but who knows. The bus also could use some maintenance - leaking AC vents, broken arm rests, and broken seat back pockets.

Very encompassing and yet well-paced. Saw the best of Ghent and Bruges in one day. The tour was exceptional and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Nico was amazing. Local guide not so much. Hot sunny day and both cities were very crowded so that made it slightly less enjoyable. But the cities were amazing and a must see if in Belgium
