Discover Flanders’ two most enchanting cities and follow your guide on his walking tour way back in time! We take you to Ghent. We visit Saint-Bavo’s Cathedral, home to the world-famous Mystic Lamb painting (optional) and walk along the Castle of the Counts of Flanders, the picturesque medieval harbor and many more highlights.

In Bruges, after lunch you enjoy the view of the peaceful Lake of Love and the picturesque Beguinage. Your guide will explain the stories and secrets behind the city’s history from the Viking period until the end of the Middle Ages. Spent 2 full days/ 3 nights BnB in Ghent Weather dry and 14c Coffee and cake beside canal in sunshine.. Meandered through city visit to Counts Castle,Gravenstraat. Canal cruise was 40 minutes. Great information was given in 3 languages. Lunch opposite main gate to Counts Castle Took train to Bruges 1 day. Trains frequent and around 30mins. Took bus to centre. Very quiet around main areas. A fewhorse-drawn rides. Beautiful buildings similar to Ghent. Walked around canals. Had ice cream. Lunch daily deal 2 course 22e at restaurnt in almost empty square. Only serve bottled water. Very few tourists and weather ideal for idling around Many restaurants closed at lunchtime. Had ice-cream..yum... Coffee and doughnut

  • Jan The Tour Guide - Absolutely Amazing

I had the chance to take the tour of Bruges and Gent. Our tour guide, Jan Van Melkebeke, was amazing. Not only did he speak multiple languages when communicating history and significance of our sights and stops, but he also took the time to explain details, instructions and history in each of the languages. Additionally, he was well prepared and well equipped for our day. He made arrangements for our boat tour, kept everyone on track and on time, and shared plenty of great information on the tour with each of us. He even went as far as allowing me to pay by credit card as I foolishly didn’t have the Euros on hand for the boat tour. He did this all day and was able to be pleasant and keep a smile on his face. He made the tour a lot of fun. 10/10 would do it again, albeit I’d prepare myself better. Additionally, our bus driver got us everywhere on time and provided a smooth safe ride the entire day. I’m very thankful for the both of them and hope Brussels City Tours recognizes the both of them for their hard work and dedication

Fabulous tour of Ghent and Bruges. It made us great weather, no rain. Both cities with walking tour and free time for visits, photos, etc. They must reach the exit point and then it ends up centrally located in Brussels.

  • Beautiful authentic city. Because of this it is touristy.

While in Brussels, we took advantage of a day to visit Bruges and Ghent, and this is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful excursions we have made in Belgium. Both cities are beautiful, each with its unique atmosphere

They were very accommodating and adjusted my parents on the day after. However, the tour was rushed and the guide was rude. They did not get proper time at the stops.

This trip was absolutely perfect! I’ve been on a few tour trips in my holidays but this one was a great one. My best friend and I felt so relaxed, so safe and excited! We couldnt believe it was over at the end of the day. The tour guide, Andrea, was so kind which made us feel safe, the coach was brilliant, you knew where you were going at all times, instructions were made clear and Andrea made sure to keep us all together. You can also get a lot of free time on this trip which is excellent if you want to check out individual shops or revisit the places you saw on the tour to have a closer look. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience Bruges and Ghent!
