5.00We joined this excursion mainly for convenience since our cruise ship was docking in Zeebrugge for only part of the day. The drive to Bruges was comfortable and the guide provided some useful information about the area. Once in the city, we spent time walking around and taking photos of the canals and old buildings. The canal cruise was peaceful and offered some nice views that we wouldn’t have seen from the streets alone. It was a pleasant way to spend a few hours.

5.00A few of us traveling together on a cruise decided to take this tour so we could explore Bruges without having to plan everything ourselves. The transfer from the port went smoothly and the guide kept the group organized. Once in the city, we walked through several historic areas and had some time to explore on our own as well. The canal cruise was relaxing and offered some nice views of the old houses and bridges. It was a nice balance of guided time and free time.

5.00We visited Bruges during a cruise stop and thought this excursion would be an easy way to see the city with our kids. The drive from Zeebrugge didn’t take long, and the guide pointed out a few interesting things along the way. Bruges itself was beautiful, with lots of old buildings and canals. The canal cruise was enjoyable and gave us a chance to sit and take in the scenery after walking around. The timing worked well and we returned to the ship without any stress.

1.00Tropical Storm Benjamin caused us to miss this port. We were advised of the missing port less than 24 hours prior to the start of the shore excursion, therefore, no refund. I was reimbursed by my travel insurance, BUT the tour company got the money--although they were unable to provide the service because of the Tropical Storm. Doesn't seem fair.
Plenty of conversation, lots of humour.

5.00Streets are quieter. Lights reflecting off the canals. Still saw all the main spots but in a different light. We saw the Markt, de burg, the canals etc. At last we enjoyed our day without any regret.
