A Calm Solo Experience in a Beautiful City

5.00As a solo traveler, I appreciated how easy this excursion was to join and follow. The logistics from Zeebrugge were handled well, and I didn’t have to think about transport or directions. The canal cruise was a quiet highlight. It gave a peaceful view of Bruges that felt almost cinematic at times. Sitting back and watching the city pass by from the water was very relaxing. After the boat ride, I spent time walking through the streets independently. The city felt safe and welcoming, and I enjoyed being able to explore at my own pace without pressure.

5.00Super easy to find the tour off the bus. Mary was our guide and she was great! She was very knowledgeable. The boat ride was delightful. One of our favorite tours ever. Beautiful town. Highly recommend. Lots of beautiful photo ops. Pass on the Belgian waffle on a stick place and go to the one across the street! Lots of chocolate shops. Beautiful Christmas shop nearby too.

5.00Our guide wasn't trying too hard to sound performer like which I actually appreciated. Just normal explanations, little stories here and there. Our whole day was lovely and I couldn't forget it.
Must See to believe. I wish I could upload canal videos.

3.00Our guide presented excellent commentary, and Bruge sites visited all interesting. However, there’s a great deal of walking involved, the temperature was 84° or so, and keeping up with our group of 15 or so visitors was a difficult and problematic task. We walked a total of 4.4 miles. More attention should’ have been paid to making sure that everyone was able to walk comfortably throughout the tour.

5.00Our guide shared so much wonderful information! It was a smaller group so we were able to hear and ask questions easily. It was a walking tour, followed by a canal boat trip. She allowed for free time at the end for shopping and sampling Belgium goodies (waffles, fries, chocolates). We came from a cruise ship and were picked up right at the port which made it very convenient. I highly recommend this tour!
