Ionut guided us on a wonderful tour of the Unirea Salt Mine; as geologists we were very impressed by the folded and deformed sedimentary layers of salt. The visit to the Snagov Monastery was also very rewarding; Ionut’s explanations of Vlad’s history were excellent!

I like mine tech stuff so I was expected it to be interesting, but the salt mine really was amazing. My fiancé was skeptical about visiting a mine, but she was blown away. The mine is cool (inspirationally and temperature wise). The stop at Dracula's tomb, situated in the monastery on an island in Snagov lake, was also good, a nice break to the travelling back to Bucharest. Our tour guide Andreea was excellent! She was friendly, helpful and provided excellent details of about the mine, Dracula's tomb. We could tell she was passionate about her stories of Romanian history and culture, it made her captivating to listen to. We learned so much, thank you.
