We invite you for a scenic tour to the ‘cradle of Hungary’ to merge in history! We take a ride to the former royal towns of Hungary. In Esztergom from Cathedral Hill you can enjoy the best view opening onto the river and to Slovakia. You may visit the Cathedral, the largest Roman Catholic church of Hungary. We cross the river and the border to Slovakia to have the stunning view from the opposite side.
We proceed to Visegrád, the heart of the Danube Bend, where we will treat you with 3-course lunch. Our restaurant overlooks the river bend and the famous castle that was once a seat of the Hungarian kings. We pass by Solomon Tower, once the prison of Count Dracula.
The tour continues to Szentendre. Explore the town of artists and arts, famous for its museums, bars, cafés and boutiques.

Great trip, really enjoyed all of it. Krisztina was really knowledgeable and was able to tell us so much history of every where we went. It was great as someone who loves to understand different time periods and ways that other countries lived/live. The church was beautiful and got to spend a good amount of time there. Unlike other trips, nothing was pushed on his to buy things, which we enjoyed. Would recommend and 100% would do it again,

The Danube Bend Day Trip has met and exceeded our expectations. From the hotel pickup, meeting our guide Raool, travelling in the relaxed comfort of the tour bus, listening to Raool's educational and well-presented information of Hungary, healthy 3-course meal to the last but not the least, return on the boat, everything is planned and executed seamlessly. Highly recommend.

Tour left promptly from downtown Budapest. Bus was very comfortable. The driver Sabi was very capable driving through narrow and curvy turns. Our guide Adam was very informative and kept us on schedule. The sights along the day trip were beautiful and well thought out! Lunch was fabulous and was in such a lovely spot. The boat ride back to Budapest from Szentendre was a great way to end the tour. Would highly recommend this tour. Well worth the price! Thank you!

We booked this tour from Get Your Guide as we had an extra day in Budapest and wanted to explore Szedentre which was included. We were picked up right on time and transferred to a van with a few others. We rode through the countryside, stopped at a church along the way but were unable to go inside because of a function. Our tour guide, Krisztina, kept us informed and adapted our schedule. She was very informative with the history of the area and kept us entertained. The return from Szedentre is by boat and does not return you to the original pickup point so that needs to be kept in mind.

Not at all what was expected. Very little time in Szentendre, which was supposed to be the destination. Driver and guide were very nice, but we spent way too much time going places that were not on the itinerary. Very disappointed. Included lunch was awful.

The highlight of the tour for me was viewing the same structure from two sides of the border, one being from the Slovakia side. Kristina is an extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide who is equally empathetic to any specific needs of her guests (case in point being her remembering during our lunch, one of the guests wanted a gluten-free diet.
