5.00We had the pleasure of spending some hours in the company of Zoltan in the center of Budapest. Along the way, we tasted several exciting dishes and saw places you don't usually encounter. Zoltan is a very eloquent and energetic person who is happy to share his knowledge of Hungary's culture and history and gave us several examples of Hungarian humor. We are happy to recommend a Secret Food Tour. Plan the trip at the beginning of your stay, to get the most out of the recommendations you receive along the way.

5.00One of the best food tours we have ever been on. Our guide Zoltan was very knowledgeable about Budapest and made the day very enjoyable. We were able to taste a variety of local dishes. We especially love the langos and gulyas soup! Our last stop we tasted all different forms of paprika along with local palinka (fruit spirit). Would highly recommend this tour with Zoltan.

5.00We had an amazing time with Kitty on the Obuda food tour! It is unlikely I would have explored this area on my own, as it is outside the more popular Buda and Pest areas. All the food and drinks we had were incredibly delicious. Kitty made it feel like we were sharing a meal with friends. I’d highly recommend this tour in addition to your explorations of Buda and Pest.

5.00The Secret Food Tour of Obuda was amazing! Our extremely knowledgeable guide Zoltan was fantastic. He grew up in the Obdua area and knew the best places to try authentic Hungarian dishes. I would highly recommend this tour and Zoltan. He was charming, funny and knew not only the food scene in Obuda, but all of the history of Budapest and Hungary!

5.00A unique experience to get a taste of how real Hungarians eat. Zoltan was a tremendous guide sharing his personal stories and how Budapest has changed over the decades. The food was as delicious as it was abundant. Really glad we chose the Obuda tour - was very easy to get to and each restaurant was completely authentic. Highly recommend this tour!

Incredible history and unforgettable culinary experience. Goulash and Langos was the favourite, but the sausageses were also one of a kind! Highly recommended!
