Meet outside the main entrance for introductions and a quick briefing. Look for the bald guy with a cool beard, also the infamous white “Experiences by George” bag on the shoulder.

5.00We joined with George on his small group guided walk through the central market and local eateries. All our tastings featured truly local produce, made by generations of local families. George is a great host. His small group size made for a really pleasant,unrushed and delicious time in Budapest.

5.00I was lucky enough to find this tour to kick off my trip to Budapest. I took the tour at 10 am, just in time to start the day by filling my stomach with local food. There's nothing better than having a local recommend the best spots to eat something high-quality and authentic from the region while telling you the story behind it. It's a very private tour guided by a very friendly person; it's definitely a 5-star experience.

We loved how the history of Hungary and Budapest was told and integrated with the history of the food and our experience. We’ve left with a list of recommendations and full tummies!
