What a wonderful tour! Benjamin was an outstanding guide, Knowledgeable and insightful, he brought real Jewish heart and soul to his presentation which covered Jewish history as well as Hungarian history. This will surely be one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you Benjamin. You’re a mensch. Keep up the great work.

Guide, Benjamin, young man, was brilliant. His knowledge was sound and he is passionate about what he’s doing. It was a wonderful morning in the Jewish Quarter.

Benjamin was fantastic! He offered so much insight and personal experiences during this tour. There were people who were all different religions and from various countries in our small group. Everyone agreed it was a very meaningful experience.

Ben gave a very informative history of Jewish life in Budapest and the Doheny St. synagogue. He was articulate , easy to be with and informative. The small group imitation to 12 people maximum is a plus. Ben shared stories of his family illustrating the prrsonal impact of history.

It was wonderful! We saw and learned so much about Eastern European Jewry and Hungarian specifically. I cannot recommend this tour enough. Benjamin was fantastic. I can’t believe how knowledgeable this young man is.

I appreciated learning about the present-day Budapest Jewish community and a bit of the history. However, purchasing the tour did not provide the value that buying our own admission ticket would have. I expected more of a walking tour through the Jewish quarter, not just a visit to the synagogue/museum complex. We also did not get enough time to delve into the exhibits. I would have like there to be an actual guided tour of the museum, highlighting some of the treasures, as shown in the photos advertising the tour. Instead, we were given 30 minutes to explore on our own.

The tour was everything we hoped for. Our guide was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. His English was exceptionally good. We would highly recommend this tour.

Nice tour but the grand tour lasted only a little over 2 hours. Spent only 15 minutes in the Jewish museum, listed as 45 minutes. The Jewish cafe listed on the itinerary actually doesn’t even exist. In my opinion, the 2 synagogues are nice to visit but the time spent on the tour and the itinerary were completely misrepresented.
