First off the hotel pickup was the start of a fabulous time. We were pickedup exactly on time, from Gabriella and Ben. We talked about the things that were important for us to see. After that we were off. The weather was not cooperative because of rain, never let that stop you! Having been to Budapest before we wanted a few hidden sights and they delivered. It was amazing. The zoo, thermal baths Liberty Square and more. We even had enough time for a quick coffee before it was time to head to out to our Unicum factory tour. A surprising taste of 6 different flavors. When we're were finished we could be dropped off at our hotel but they kind enough to drop us at the Market Hall for a bit of shopping. A fabulous day was had by all.

Great tour! Gabrielle was a wonderful guide! She was very knowledgeable. It was nice to see and learn about more of the city than we would have on a walking tour. The tuk tuk was a very fun way to get around! I would definitely recommend this tour! The distillery experience was fun!

Robert picked us up very close to our hotel and asked what we wanted to see. We had already been on a couple of other tours through Viking so we told him what we had already seen. He came up with a perfect plan. We went up to the top of a hill near the Citadel and Liberty statue on the Buda side and had an amazing view of the Danube and the Pest side while he gave us a history lesson. We then went to the Unicum distillery for a tour and tasting. It was very interesting and we even liked the product. The president of the company parked his car as our tour ended. He was gracious enough to have his picture taken with us. Next Robert took us inside the gorgeous Anantara Hotel and New York Cafe. What a treat! We then rode on a street with many stately mansions on our way to a peaceful park where the Anonymous Writer statue is. We stopped in Heroes' Square where Robert gave us another history lesson. You can tell that he is very proud of his country and wants to share it with visitors! On the way back to our hotel we drove along Andrassy Avenue passing by many upscale shops. Robert dropped my husband back off at the hotel and then was willing to drop me off at St Stephen's Cathedral on his way back to the office. This Tuk Tuk tour was the highlight of our Danube cruise and 3 day stay in Budapest vaation. Thank you Robert and Tuk Tuk Tours.

Cannot recommend this enough. First time in Budapest for both of us and we wanted to start our first full day here with a four hour tour of the city. Robert pulled up to our hotel in the tuk tuk promptly and he had blankets to keep us warm, since it was around 10 degrees centigrade. He asked us what we were interested in and how he could cater the tour to what we wanted to see and we told him we were interested in hearing about the culture and history, including the arts and architecture. From there, he gave an in depth history and some of his own personal experience along with stopping at locations and showing us things not many have seen. He was very adaptable and got us great coffee and pastries along the way and was very animated and excited to share his culture with us. We found a lot of great recommendations for restaurants and bars and cafes and fine arts and general places to walk around or take a second look at later. If it wasn’t for Robert, we would not have known a lot of what we eventually did here. Please support people like him keeping the history and culture alive. It’s the little things that amount to the big things, and Robert made a big impact on our experience here.

This was the best way to see Budapest. We have been here before but Ben took us to hidden gems as well as some requests we made.

Delightful guide. Fun tasting Unicum but would have liked to try the coffee flavored one. Movie about the family history was very good.

This was what I chose as the best way to introduce my friend and I to Budapest ... I love quirky but personal tours and this fitted the bill perfectly. It was all arranged very last minute, literally and we got on/off the plane ... Good personal communication from the main booking contact. The driver was waiting for us as expected... We went for a whizz around Budapest... Seeing a lot of key places. Stopping off mid way at the unicum museum... An interesting way to spend an hour or so. At least we got a good taster.. Whilst interesting.. it wasn't my cup of tea in terms of product/drink and with hindsight.. I'd rather have another hour in the tuk tuk! That's only a preference. Our guide Berci was a nice fella who kept us informed and entertained - a very personable chap. In summary, this is probably the best Intro to Budapest as it allows a flash through some key sites that you can go back to, like we did. The tuk tuk gets many pointed fingers and smiles as you drive past. A small guide map of where you are going would be a useful idea. Thanks!! Craig & Rob
