We had a wonderful time walking around Yerevan with Arto and learning about the history of Armenia and its capital. Most of our group landed in Yerevan early in the morning so the 9am-12pm tour was a great way to stay awake, walk around, and avoid the high heat of the afternoon sun. Arto was an amazing guide, answering whatever questions we had and accommodating in organizing the tour route based on our group’s interests and the potential influence of jetlag ;). Nearing the end of our tour, we sat down with Arto at a cafe and chatted over refreshments. We highly recommend booking this walking tour of Yerevan if you are looking for an introduction to the city and the hospitality of the Armenian people.

Excellent opportunity to explore the key highlights of Yerevan. Arto was a very friendly guide, possessing extensive cultural knowledge. Moreover, he made the tour highly enjoyable and comfortable; it felt like walking with a friend. We were able to coordinate the tour time through WhatsApp, and Arto was considerate in asking about the schedule that suited me best. It was fantastic as we covered various mentioned points and even explored some off-itinerary locations, personalized to enhance my experience of the city. Thanks to Arto, I learned a lot about Yerevan, and I am sincerely grateful for this memorable tour.

I have done walking tours from Zanzibar to New Orleans and this was BY FAR the best walking tour I have ever been on. Arto, the guide, is so personable and knowledgeable that it was like taking a long walk with a good friend. We discussed everything about Armenia from history to politics to pop culture. My 10 year old daughter was with us and we had been a few places before so Arto took us to the Children's Railway Museum. This is the type of hidden gem you would find on a travel show. He customized the experience to us and we were so grateful. We walk all across Yerevan in 3 hours and it was a pleasure. If you want a walking tour of Yerevan, just book this one...you won't regret it. This tour is perfect if: 1. You need flexible timings. We arranged the meet up time with Arto on whatsapp. That is why one isn't listed. 2. You are traveling with children. Arto tailored the pace of the walking tour to our daughter. She didn't complain once! 3. You want to see the sights of Yerevan and a few places not mentioned online. 4. You want to have a great conversation with a REALLY interesting dude. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Arto and his walking tour MADE our Armenia trip.

Our guide Arto gave us a warm-hearted welcome to Armenia and led us on a wondrous journey through Yerevan, from the local bazaar to the magnificent historical monuments that express the rich heritage of this beautiful country. Not only were we introduced to the bustling streets of this living metropolis, we also experienced a mind walk that awakened us to the many cultural treasures of Armenia.. Thank you, Arto, for a walk to remember!
