MadTours Adventure Adrenaline & Emotions is a company dedicated to tourist activities, namely off-road tours, on the stunning island of Madeira. Born from a passion for off-roading, our main goal is to explore the natural beauty of the island in a radical and exclusive way with our buggies.

We offer unforgettable off-road experiences, allowing our customers to discover fascinating landscapes, majestic mountains and the rich local fauna and flora. During the tours, which include stops at viewpoints overlooking the sea, customers drive our modern vehicles, providing a unique adventure.

Our trails are carefully selected to guarantee a memorable experience, guided by our experienced Tour Guides, who share historical, cultural and environmental information. This is an adventure that our customers will want to relive again and again!

What To Expect

Lasting 2 hours and 30 minutes, this tour is easy and starts at the famous “Trilho das Funduras” in Fajã dos Rolos. Throughout the route, you will be treated to an unforgettable landscape with views over the Laurissilva Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along the way, we will stop at Casa das Funduras, which offers support for forestry activities, and then continue towards Pico do Furado, where you will have a wide view of the north coast of the island. You will have the opportunity to take incredible and memorable photographs of some of the green and iconic points of Madeira Island. We guarantee that this will be an unparalleled experience, full of adrenaline throughout the route, with plenty of mud and dust!

A brilliant tour which we thoroughly enjoyed despite the very chilly weaather for Madeira. Greg, the host was amazing with lots of interesting information about the island. Protective clothing was provided and needed for wet, muddy parts of the tour and the only thing we could have done with was a pair of gloves. Overall well worth the money and would highly recommend it.

The guides were very friendly and informative. The tour was well planned and varied, making sure there was a bit of everything (thick forest, roads, wet areas…). They also did a bit of an explanation in all three viewpoints. Would definitely do again!

We did this buggy tour with our teenagers and it was a super fun experience! You drive through the jungle, stop at some viewpoints (unfortunately worse visibility during our tour through clouds) and explain the history of the island. Recommended!

The Buggy Tour was fantastic, we can recommend you to anyone! The buggies were well maintained and could be driven well. There was water to drink and waterproof overpants as well as jackets before the start of the tour. Greg led a nice tour and made the breaks interesting with stops and some background knowledge. We were there a day after a thunderstorm and accordingly had damp paths and lots of puddles, which made the whole ride even more fun. Thanks again for the subsequent restaurant recommendation, this was very well taken!

Good communication throughout. Easy to find. Good equipment provision. Definitely worth wearing the protective jacket and trousers so you don't worry about how muddy you get. We were filthy. Good you pay for the buggy rather than per person. Overall the activity was excellent from start to finish. My partner said his 'smile omoeter' was maxed out during the activity. We would definitely recommend it. We hope to do it again next time we visit Madeira.
