The route is largely dirt tracks and they make two stops, one at a small family farm where you can taste their cheeses for free and another in front of a spectacular cliff on the beach.

Absolutely brilliant few hours out! Guide was very informative from the start! You do get really dusty, and I mean really dusty so wear clothes you dont need to wear again whilst on holiday 🤣 Very bumpy but a fabulous experience going through the desert like landscape with amazing views. You need your driving licence too so dont forget that! As you are on main roads for part of the trip. A lovely stop off at a goats cheese farm, some animals to see and a lovely little shop for souvenirs, drinks and even goats cheese! Definitely recommend 👌

What a fantastic experience this was, picked up from our hotel in an air conditioned minibus. Both hosts spoke perfect English and were friendly on the journey. The buggy tour itself is amazing, taking you through the stunning landscape of this lovely island. First stop is the goat farm where you can taste the different cheeses made there, grab a drink and use the toilet. Second stop is a stunning cliff top which is perfect for pictures. I would highly recommend this trip.

We hired 2 buggies for a family of 4. Really enjoyed the trip. The guide was great and so knowledgeable about the area. Lovely scenery. We had considered doing the Corralejo one as they also do buggies for 4 as I haven't driven abroad before so was a bit anxious but you followed in a convoy and I'm glad we chose this one. We enjoyed seeing the donkeys and camel at the cheese farm as well as the driving. We got some great family photos. They collect you from your hotel and the guy that collects was British and really nice, he was the support vehicle in case of break downs. You need a buff and sunglasses as it is dusty (we purchased a couple for 4-5 euros each). Hopefully I have the right tour as it says on the leaflet Fuerte Adventure Excursions.

We can't recommend this experience enough. From the wonderful briefing at the beginning in 4 languages due to the mix of people taking part, to the knowledgeable staff regarding the buggies and the area it was a really great day.

If you’re in Caleta de Fuste and looking for an unforgettable experience, I can’t recommend the Buggy Safari with Fuerte Explorer enough! From start to finish, the entire adventure was perfectly organized and executed. The team at Fuerte Explorer goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly — from booking to briefing to the ride itself. The buggies are well-maintained and easy to handle, and the routes take you through some absolutely stunning and rugged parts of the island you wouldn’t see otherwise. It’s the perfect mix of adrenaline, breathtaking scenery, and fun. Whether you’re an off-road enthusiast or just looking for something exciting to do, this experience checks all the boxes. What really stood out was how professional and friendly the guides were — they made everyone feel safe and welcomed while still keeping the adventure level high. You can tell that Fuerte Explorer truly cares about delivering a top-quality experience. Highly recommend booking with them if you’re planning a buggy tour in Fuerteventura. You won’t regret it!

Just ended our buggy safari. WOW!! Fantastic fun. To start, they came and collected us from hotel. This is a very nice touch. They offered us a lift back afterwards, but, we decided to stay in town for a drink. So, you start at the office. You're given a satiety brief by the guide. I'll come back to him in a moment. Them, a short walk round to the buggies. Another quick, well presented brief on how they work and the does and donts. And thats it... you're off. You start around the streets of Calete de Fuste. This is exciting if you've never driven on the right (wrong 😂) side of the road. Then you head out on the main road before hitting the off roading. This was so much fun. Very dusty, as expected. Make sure you wear a bandana and sunglasses. We were taken to a kind of farm to see some goats, birds, donkeys and a very friendly camal. You get to fee them too. All free. Then, we headed of for a glimpse at one of the islands volcanos, before our next stop at a very picturesque place by the salt museum. Im not sure the volcano part was technically part of the excusion, but Gilberto, our guide decided it was good to get a little closer for a better view. So.. Gilberto.. our guide. One of the nicest, friendliest guys you will ever meet! Very knowledgeable and always happy to take pics of us at every stop. He also made sure we all stayed safe on our trip. This business and Gilberto definitely get a 10/10 rating from us. We are coming back to the island next year and will definitely do this again. Thank you Gilberto and the team for making our holiday so memorable. 5*
