What started out as a very unorganised day - limited information, train ticket timing not shared, at the train station way earlier than required, and no driver on arrival in Bukhara (despite the advanced booking), did eventually turn into a great day with our Tour Guide who was incredibly accommodating and informative about the Sites in Bukhara and the Bienelle taking place.

Bukhara is like going back in time centuries ago or going into the future it looks like the set of a Star Wars film yet it has building that date centuries back that have preserved well without need for reconstruction. The tour was very well planned with the truly amazing guide Dilfuza being the best part of it. She has such passion and dedication to her work and such kindness on a personal level it was a joy and a privilege to explore Bukhara with her. Her driver and assistant was Aziz was also very kind and very helpful and knowledgeable.

Again a very historic place with an ancient fort, mosques and madrasas. It was a seat of learning during ancient times which was impressive. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made our visit very educative and informative.

I was told I'd be met at Bukhara with a sign GotoUzbekistan. I wasn't. 15 mins of stress and hassle from taxi drivers. Very unpleasant. Tour itself was very interesting though I felt we missed some buildings by going into shops a lot. Flight back went fine except on arrival at almost 21.00 after long day, GotoUzbekistan rep not there to collect me as promised. His phone number not recognised. After waiting almost 20 mins (alone except for 2 taxi drivers) I gave up and took a taxi. Again very stressful. Very badly managed tour.
