What To Expect

Bull shark diving at Bat Island (Isla Murciélago) is a very exciting and adrenalin loaded experience. It's a deep dive to see the sharks and therefore you need to be either an advanced certified divers trained to dive to 30meters/100 feet or opt-in for the adventure deep dive upgrade. We do 3 dives, two at Bat Island (bull sharks) and one dive at another site which is shallower but nevertheless as exciting, as there are chances to see mantas. Experience these amazing creatures yourself and let us take care of everything else. - Divers need to be trained to dive to 30meters/100 feet or opt in for the adventure deep dive (see extras when you book the trip) - Leave 18-24 hours between diving and flying or going to altitude - No refund in case of equalization problems or not certified/booked as needed - Not recommended for travelers with back problems - Not recommended for pregnant travelers - No heart problems or other serious medical conditions - This tour/activity will have a maximum of 7 divers

I had the pleasure of do 5 dives with this team. Specifically The Bull Shark experience which was a beautiful lifetime experience! The dive was on a site more than an hour sailing on a fast boat, a beautiful preserved natural site, we were super lucky to see anormous Bull Sharks and enjoy and feel their majestic power in the ocean. This is a dive that so many other dive centers couldnt offer for many economic or equipment related reasons. I had other dives with them too , and had the experience of my life. So many sharks and turtles and all kind of exciting marine creatures all the way around us in every single dive site. Unbelievable! I had a total of 5 dives with this professional team and absoloutely recommend them to any ocean/dive lover. On top of safety and professionality, they provide you with hearty meals and delicious snacks during the day and take good care of you. Ps: I was a solo traveller all the way from Denmark, and felt in very good hands with these guys. Will definitely come back and dive with them. 👌🤙🥰

We had a fantastic day at Bat Islands with 2 enthusiastic instructors from Tamadive. We saw whales, dolphins from the boat and lots of sharks during our dives. One of the instructors prepared a really nice lunch for all of us. The other one gave our son a tooth of a shark. A perfect day with great instructors!

Diving with TamaDive is an experience that shall not be missed. Remo, Miguel and Franco make you feel at home, the dive feels like a reunion with old friends enjoying the sea, waves and all the natural beauty the Catalina Islands have to offer. If possible, bull shark diving at the Bat Islands is an unmissable experience. The thrill of going down into the big scare and coming face to face with so many sharks in their habitat is exhilarating. Remo masterfully captured these moments and made the dive exciting, safe and fun! Thanks for reading, pura vida.

!! spectacular!! The experience is unforgettable, and I found Top-rated, Franco and Remo helped me at all times correcting my mistakes and helping me improve, Miguel and Pedro some fantastic guys and waiting to help you at all times, the best place for diving in Catalina Islands and Bat Islands without any doubt !!

Tamadive is absolutely the place to dive with in Tamarindo! We did the Bat Islands bull shark dive, and everything was wonderful. Our guide Rimo was so kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He picked us up at our hotels and drove us to the boat There were snacks and drinks available to keep us happy throughout the 3 dives. We had a great day in the water and saw so many bull sharks, rays, octopui, eels, and more. He even sent us amazing footage that he took with his camera which was way better quality than mine. I’ll definitely be back and will 100% book with them again.
