2.00The heat was so crazy, which is expected, but they didn’t have misters or chilled water fountains like at other parks. The rides kept breaking down and we weren’t offered a fast line despite waiting 45 minutes in the heat

2.00Went to the park April 2026. Multiple rides and attractions down for maintenance. The pre purchase ticket system was confusing. The staff was unfriendly and uncaring. Ate lunch at the Dragon Fire grill and was shocked at how unorganized and unprofessional the staff was. Overall the park is a mess and we won’t be back.

1.00We had a really disappointing experience at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Unfortunately, the day got off to a rough start at the entrance. The gate attendant, Mel, came across as unnecessarily difficult and rude—he asked for my ID twice and wasn’t very pleasant to deal with, which set a negative tone right away. What made it worse is that it didn’t seem like an isolated interaction. Right after us, we watched him be similarly difficult with another guest and deliver the news that she had overpaid for something she wasn’t going to receive, with very little empathy. It was uncomfortable to watch and reinforced the impression that customer service at the gate was lacking. On top of that, I was double charged for parking, which was frustrating and time-consuming to deal with. Once inside, the park was extremely crowded, lines were long, and the heat made everything feel even more exhausting. Overall, it ended up being an awful day. Hoping this was just a one-off experience, but it definitely wasn’t what we expected.

2.00Purchased what I thought were admission tickets and quick queue tkts that were nearly $400 for 2 people. When I got there, they said it was just for quick queue. It was another $350 just for admission tickets. Half the exhibits and rides were closed, they will nickel and dime you into oblivion but at least the restrooms were clean. Wait times were inflated to entice people to buy quick queue. An outdated park obviously sold to corporate entities trying to wring every dollar out of unsuspecting tourists.

5.00We read some reviews before our visit and were a bit worried as lots of negative reviews recently. We visited Busch Gardens today and had a brilliant day. It was a Sunday, so was expecting it to be busy. There was a bus waiting for us at the bus stop which took us to the entrance. The queue to get into the park (an hour after opening) was short and we were inside within a few minutes. The queues for rides were short, our maximum queue time was 30 mins but most were 5-10 mins (some rides we were able to stay on and ride again as they were so quiet). We had the all day dining pass and this was great….our only slight criticism is that the fizzy drinks weren’t fizzy! We thought we would leave by about 5pm but we were all having such fun, we stayed until the park closed at 9pm! Highly recommend Busch Gardens for a fun day for the family.

1.00Visited today with my husband. The park was not overcrowded and amazing weather should make for the perfect day. Are you aware the park is CASHLESS. Paid for tickets and meals online for a “deal” only to be charged an additional $50 in service fees and taxes. Arrive at the park .. parking is $42 before fees .. so $45 regular parking and $63 preferred. Long lines to enter. My biggest complaint is the lack of shows / entertainment. There was one cheetah & one hippo show but at the same time. What gets me the most is EVERY ANIMAL show is a separate encounter for a FEE. What a total money grab. Lots of animal enclosures are empty or under construction. I think we could have saved ourselves a lot of $$ and seen more at the zoo.
