• The most disappointing theme park experience in the world

  What an appauling theme park. We were so excited to be coming to busch gardens. We travelled from the UK and came in mid june. Major rides were closed with no notice or explanation. We had travelled 4000 miles to go on these rides. They dont do any photo passes so you cant get your pictures. They told me that on each ride you can scan a qr code on your photo. However the cameras either werent working or the screens werent working to let you view your pictures. My son and I have travelled to major theme parks all over the world and the experience we have experienced here today is without doubt the worst. To know i have wasted a day on the holiday of a lifetime coming here truly makes me sad and feel like ive let my son down. I strongly advise anyone to give this park a miss because the state it operated in today is an absolute disgrace. They only got 1 out of 5 because 0 out of 5 wasnt an option!

  This is probably the worst amusement park I have ever been to. Half the stuff was closed, several of the animals were enclosed in their night habitats, and it is impossible to navigate this park. Even with their mediocre and confusing signs and maps you can never find your way to what you are looking for. They had one person trying to run two different rides. The whole experience was a joke. The only good thing was the food at the smokehouse, which was exceptional.

  Im sorry but this theme park needs closing, you need to spend some money on getting the rides working and improve the facilities and then reopen it. What a shame, I came to Busch gardens when I was a kid and it’s virtually unrecognisable to what it is now. $45 to park your car and the food was rubbish as well to top it off, even the dodgem cars were not working. The river rapids ride looked like nobody had walked up that path in months and the sign says closed for essential maintenance, there were probably more rides closed than there was open today. Close it down, put some new rides in there, give it a good referb and then reopen otherwise you’ll end up with no customers in the future

  I have been going to Busch Gardens for fifty years. it had been a few years since I had been there. It was so sad and disappointing to see how much this iconic park had declined. Half the rides were either removed or non operational. For example: Sheikra, Flume, train, and Congo River Rapids. Half the animal exhibits were shut down. The food was Disgusting! We bought the meal plan and tried three different restaurants and all were bad. The once fantastic smokehouse was so bad we threw out the food. The ribs were so chewy you couldn’t eat them. The park is unclean and in disrepair. The cute hippo flume in Sesame Street area only had one hippo operational. The middle use to be a pretend pond with pretend hippo’s sticking their heads up. Look at the pictures and it is filled with mud, leaves, and dirt. Peeling paint everywhere and rusty gates. The staff was nice but appeared tired, under paid, and unenthusiastic. The Zoie costume was worn and dirty. Bathrooms were dirty and not kept. I still can not believe how quickly this once beautiful park has gone to such disrepair!

  Me and my partner are doing a tour of the parks in Orlando, our first day we did these, because it is the most distant from the city of the ones we propose to go. Fortunately, starting with it, it's the coolest, it's not as immersive as the rest of the park, it has one or another cool toy. It is worth only to know and go catching the spirit, but go first in it rsrsr if not the disappointment will be greater. I don't recommend the food, one of the worst.

  The biggest waste of money I’ve ever experienced and this is after going to Disney. Nearly $50 for parking $25 for Lorikeet food, $11 each for dipping dots. just an absolute insane waste of money for a sht day in the sun with no relief. Stay the f away from here and go someplace that is family friendly, and allows kids to go on the roller coasters and carousels that you paid for. My kids were 1 inch above the height requirement for a carousel and we’re not allowed on and the 12 year-old manager told me they were not permitted to go on the ride despite being about six months older than my children. Chris Barnabie, manager supposedly, you’re doing a sht job at Busch Gardens, with rules that keep people from enjoying the day that they paid for. thank you for contributing to a sht day that was full of expenses. We will never be back.

  Busch gardens was the only bad experience of a wonderful week in Tampa the park is run down and uncared for a lot of eisss weee shut down the kangaroos looked like they needs rescue it is a horrible place don’t go

• Don't Waste Your Money

  We went on a Wednesday, June 3. The app doesn't tell you that that rides are closed. After waiting 30 minutes in line for the train, there was an announcement that the train was delayed with no expected ETA. Kept checking back, no luck. The Cuban Cafe was closed. I didn't find out until I walked to it. I asked some employees working in a souvenir shop how to get there. They were huddled together sharing a bag of chips. One of them said they did not have a cuban restaurant until I showed it to them on the app. Instead we went to the Smokehouse. The staff was uneducated in gluten-free options-a lawsuit waiting to happen. By the way, the Smokehouse had no ribs at 3 pm. Others behind us couldn't believe it either. We went to the sky tower which was also closed. There were other restaurants and rides closed. First and last time at Busch Gardens Tampa. I've probably been to most amusement parks in the US. This was our worst experience ever Too many better options in Florida. This park needs alot of work. Night and day compared to the Williamsburg location which has won many awards. I believe they've given up on this one. Better off selling it.

  Went to celebrate my birthday. The last time I had visited a Busch Gardens I was 3 or 4. The macaw flyover was awesome (check the schedule for times). I really enjoyed the visit - it is a lot of walking and I didn't expect the parking to be extra. Could walk into the bird exhibits and see them close up. Lots of different food vendors - I got a special Frosty that isn't offered at a normal Wendy's.
