The name says it all! This private trip is designed for those who want a later start and only want to visit the popular Jost Van Dyke.
On this trip, the theme is having fun at a leisurely pace. The itinerary and schedule for the "Just Jost" trip is simple and uncomplicated. After clearing customs, you will get to enjoy any number of the lively beach bars and restaurants that Jost is known for. If there is interest, we can stop at Sandy Spit (aka Corona Island) where you can explore a deserted tropical island surrounded by turquoise water. Possible stops include Foxy's, Foxy's Taboo, the Bubbly Pools, Corsairs, the Soggy Dollar Bar, Hendos, Ivan's Stress Free Bar, and the B-Line Beach Bar just to name a few. Just tell the captain where you want to go!
If you like sun-soaked, white sand beaches and lively beach bars, then this is the trip for you!

What To Expect
So you only want to go to Jost Van Dyke? Let's go! The boat, Shady Lady, is yours for the day and you call the shots. The captain can certainly guide you in creating your day's itinerary if you would like. First, stop off for a swim at Sandy Spit, a small uninhabited island where Corona commercials were once filmed. Next, head over to Jost Van Dyke to visit the Bubbly Pool. Lunch options on Jost Van Dyke are numerous, as are the number of beach bars. White Bay is the epicenter when it comes to beach bars - take your pick - Ivan’s Stress Free Bar, Hendo’s Hideout, Foxy’s, Corsairs and of course, the famous Soggy Dollar. You can’t go wrong with a day on Jost Van Dyke.

The boat was beautiful and comfortable, the itinerary perfectly paced, and Captain Mike was truly exceptional—friendly, professional, and attentive without ever being overbearing. Jost Van Dyke itself was paradise, and exploring it from the water made it even more special. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, allowing us to fully unwind and enjoy the turquoise waters, great food, and laid-back island vibe. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to experience the BVI and would 100% book Shades of Blue again. Highly recommended!

5.00We have done numerous charters as a family with Shades of Blue and were ecstatic to be able to do a BVI jaunt with Aaron this year. Aaron’s flexibility in accommodating us and what we hoped to experience for the day was top notch. From enjoying the beaches of White Bay, taking in the beauty of Sandy Spit, to magical snorkeling spots, taking in Pizza Pi to simply enjoying “Golden Hour” views everywhere…Shade of Blue always delivers the best moments of our annual trip to STJ.
