What To Expect
The Pyramids Of Giza
Cairo Layover Tour Starts and Ends in Cairo Airport .GEM Explore Egyptologist will be waiting outside the arrival lounge(Not inside) as per requested pick up time to start your Journey across Cairo heading to the Great Pyramids of Giza where you will enjoy The pyramid of King Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Then, the tour will continue by vising the Valley Temple of Khafre, where is located the reception of the royal body of Khafre. The Valley Temple was built for the process of mummification of King Khafre. Finally, you will have a close-up look of the Great Sphinx, the guardian of the Pyramids with a body of a lion and the head of King Khafre. (please note that entering the pyramids from inside requires a special ticket, the guide will be happy to assist).
The Great Pyramid of Khufu
Khufu's pyramid is the only wonder of the ancient seven wonders still remains and standing today!! the highest building on earth for more than 3800 Years, the complex consists of a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman; diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been found but the site has not been excavated yet, with your advanced Egyptologist you will be able to explore the entire area.

5.00Mohamed Elshemei was our tour guide very polite and was very informative! His English was very good and he was the best at taking the money shots at each and every opportunity! Especially at the grand pyramid and the Sphinx . It was our daughter’s birthday and Mo was very sweet to her gifting her a present . He also takes you too jewellery shops and shops for oils spices and Egyptian paper/picture shops which are a special place to buy gifts if you wish too.

5.00Myself and my coworker went to Cairo and set up this tour. Our private guide was Mohamed Elshemei withe the driver being Samah. I can not say enough nice things about the interaction. Lots of information about each of the things we saw!!! We were even asking about some shopping off site and he and the driver Samah knew what we wanted and took us where we needed to be to do it. Overall if I could have given a higher score I would have.If I get back to Cairo I will book again through this site and ask for Mohamed for my next adventure

5.00My tour guide was Ahmed Tika. He was the best tour guide ever. His knowledge on ancient Egyptian history as well as more recent history was outstanding. He explained everything in very close detail and answered all my questions I had about the history of the pyramids and Sphinx and more. Ahmed was very nice and was always keeping a watch over me. Thank you Ahmed. Also the driver was very nice and drove the car very smoothly. He did a great job.
