The Giza plateau is not only the three great pyramids, it is a huge necropolis where Egyptians buried their dead for more than 3000 years. the Giza plateau is also the home of the great sphinx which is part of our visit and also the valley temple of King Khafre, the builder of the second pyramid and the man who possibly the sphinx's face represents.

5.00My wife and I booked three tour days with Ramses: (1) Coptic and Islamic Cairo, (2) Gizeh Pyramids and the Sphynx, (3) Saqqara and Dahshur. Everything was amazing, and we would highly recommend booking with Ramses. Here is an overview of our experience: Ramses pays close attention to detail to ensure everything is well organized. He chooses the right times—often early—to avoid the crowds and create a unique experience when visiting the sites. On-site, Ramses guided us away from the crowds, highlighting the unique artifacts and stories that bring ancient Egypt to life. His knowledge and experience (he has a PhD in archaeology specializing in Ancient Egypt) are truly exceptional; we enjoyed being able to “nerd out” about the history and culture of the Ancient Egyptians with him. One of the most unique parts of our tours was going inside the pyramids. Guides are not allowed inside these sites, but Ramses provided all the explanations, and then we explored on our own while he waited for us. Going inside the narrow passages, especially in the Great Pyramid and the more challenging Step Pyramid, was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our day exploring Islamic and Coptic Cairo provided a different, unique view into the heart and heritage of the city; we highly recommend it if you have the time. Overall, Ramses always ensured that we were comfortable, safe, and satisfied, delivering us door-to-door to the main sites, handling our entrance tickets, and guiding us through Cairo and its nearby ancient sites. With him at your side, there is absolutely nothing to worry about. We very much enjoyed our tours, and will definitely be back. Thank you Ramses!

5.00We were in visiting for 8 days if I knew what I was missing out I would have booked the entire trip with Ramses ! We didn’t have a good tour guide our first days in Giza which was booked through somewhere else originally Ramses was already booked those days so we went with someone else ! But I believe destiny brought us back to ramses on our last day . We had such a bad experience in Giza I decided to check if Ramses was available last day we had in Cairo and sure enough he was ! Let me tell you if you don’t book with Ramses your missing out on alot of good information and a person with such a great personality! Super funny and great with kids ! Hes super detailed and I can see the passion he has for history ! He will make sure you see everything you need to see ! Great photographer, he will take all the photos you need on your phone! He knows what he’s doing. Honestly he was the BEST TOUR GUIDE in our entire trip in all Egypt ! We visit Luxor and Aswan wish we had him for those areas ! Honestly you pay for what you get and Ramses is worth all the money !!

5.00My husband and I spent 18 days touring Egypt and our three days with Ramses as our guide was, hands down, the best three days of the trip! (The contrast between a highly-competent guide and a mediocre guide makes a HUGE difference!) Ramses holds a PhD in Egyptology, is a published author, knowledgeable about countless topics, speaks English fluently, is witty and fun, and will make you feel like you are visiting Egypt with your smartest friend. He is detail-oriented, wants to ensure you have the best time in Egypt, and was worth every penny! He was also able to connect us with another excellent guide, in Luxor, setting up all the details of pickup, itinerary, pricing, etc. If you’ve spent as many hours getting to Egypt as we did - do yourself a favor and get the most out of your trip! Hire Ramses - it will be the BEST decision you make!

5.00My wife and I had the pleasure of spending our first and last days on holiday in Egypt with Ramses. We’ve had many guides and honestly, Ramses is among the best. His communication skills from start to finish our exceptional. His guidance was spot at every turn. He suggested a very early start in Gaza, and we were able to climb the great pyramid by ourselves before the crowds arrived. Based on our conversation, he put together a stellar custom Cairo tour for our last day. If you’re lucky to be able to book him do so without reservation.

5.00Ramses is a fantastic tour guide! We took 2 day tours with Ramses to the Giza Pyramids/Grand Egyptian Museum and Saqqara. Both were excellent! Ramses was so knowledgeable and he made sure we saw everything at each location! We’d highly recommend booking with Ramses!

5.00Ramses was an exceptional find for our layover tour in Cairo. Sorting through the many tour options and guides can be overwhelming but Ramses met and exceeded every expectation and made the entire experience seamless, memorable and fun! He ensured we arrived at the sites before the crowds (the VIP tour is absolutely worth it if you have limited time at the pyramids!) and helped us see everything on our wish list, along with a few highlights we didn’t know to ask for. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the culture and the history sharing his expertise in a way that was very approachable and personable. Ramses managed the schedule seamlessly, making the most of our limited time but never making us feel rushed. He was an excellent guide and was absolutely the best choice for our layover tour.

5.00Don’t go to Egypt alone or join a crowded group tour. Book a private tour guide instead. We were lucky to meet Ramses XII – an incredible private guide. He has a PhD in heritage conservation, has published two books (his third book on Egyptian women empowerment is coming soon). His English is perfect, his knowledge is encyclopedic, yet he’s extremely witty and subtle. With him, the trip wasn’t just a quick sightseeing tour — it was a real journey back in time.

Ramses and his driver, Yasir, guided us from the Cairo airport to the Giza Plateau, through the GEM, and finishing in the bazar at Naguib for an early dinner before back to the airport for an evening flight. I cannot think of Egypt without thinking of Ramses. He is humble, wise, funny, proud, energetic, caring, thoughtful, courteous, and ridiculously knowledgable, bringing both ancient and modern Egyptian history to life. I came to Egypt not knowing much or anyone and left with a deep sense of awe for its history, culture, and people. Thank you Ramses. Your love of your country and culture is fantastic and inspiring (He is working on, like, his 2nd Phd on Egyptian archeology, culture and history. Decades of study.) My family was very impressed with me for choosing you as our guide😉. You managed to make everyone -- from an 11-year-old girl to a 19-year-old young man to a couple of old folks -- very happy with your attention and positive energy and love of sharing not just Egyptian history and astounding facts but your personal history and life. . 5.00An unforgettable day – highly recommended! Our day with Ramses VII was absolutely perfect and without a doubt one of the most beautiful days of our lives. Ramses is incredibly kind and friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and truly passionate about what he does. He knows all the most amazing spots, especially for unforgettable photos, far away from the crowds. Everything was perfectly planned and organized — not a single second of waiting, just pure enjoyment from start to finish. You can really feel his experience and dedication, and we felt completely comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. We would do it again anytime — highly recommended! 5.00We had the most amazing stay in Cairo with Ramses. He guided us on 2 days, one to the pyramids of Gizeh and the other to Saqqara and Dahshur. He has vast knowledge of the Egyptian civilization and is genuinely a really nice guy. We felt very safe and taken care of and everything was absolutely perfect.
