Upon arrival at the property the Welcoming is warm and friendly, bottles of water are provided before starting the tour and a pashmina is provided with which the turban is made to face the trip to the desert. You are transported by 4WD to the starting point and your suitcases are transported directly to the campsite. The trip by dromedary lasts about an hour and you are accompanied by the guide who also takes photos and videos. I recommend dressing comfortable with long pants and a long shirt to shelter from wind and sun. I recommend possibly a carrier or large pockets to put any phone or bottles of water. Once at the tent you are greeted with the typical tea ceremony and some snacks, you are then escorted to the room. The tent is very nice and cozy. Dinner was great and plentiful, activities (sandboarding) and music around the fire fun. The next day you can admire the sunrise from the dunes and you can choose whether to return on the back of a dromedary or by car. Thank you for this great experience!

You wont be disappointed. Ahmed and his team offer a very warm welcome and honestly, nothing is too much trouble. When we arrived in Merzouga (we hired a car for 3 days and drove from Marrakesh where we were staying at the Riu Tikida Palmeraie) at the meeting point which is the Dar Morocco Hotel we were met by Ahmed who explained the schedule for the trip. We were then taken into the Hotel Reception and given drinks and snacks. We had booked to do the camel ride into the desert but I had decided before we arrived that I didnt feel confident doing it and therefore, just my Husband did the camel trek and I headed to the camp via 4WD driven by Ahmed's Brother (didnt get his name unfortunately but, he was really friendly). Along the way we stopped at another hotel to pick up other guests who were joining the overnight camp. On arrival at camp we were given drinks, cold bottled water and a variety of snacks and were shown around our accommodation. Wow !! - incredible tent right in heart of the desert. Comfortable, clean with private shower and toilet. My Husband arrived approx 40 minutes after me. He absolutely loved the camel ride and would 100% recommend it. As evening approached, we sat and watched the sun go down and had a walk up the dunes before sitting down to evening meal. The meal was fantastic... chicken and lemon tagine, rice, salad, bread, eggplant tagine. Beautiful food and lots of it. Too much for us to finish and afterwards they brought out fresh melon and grapes. After the meal we sat round the fire and the team provided a great evening of entertainment... playing music, showing us how to play the instruments and getting everyone involved in having a go. Dancing around the fire and relaxing under the stars. We woke early to walk up the sand dunes to watch the sunrise. Truly beautiful and a moment I will never forget. You are welcome to stay in the desert as long as you like but we opted to head back to the Hotel to collect our car at about 9.30 am as we had a long drive back to Marrakesh. You will not be disappointed if you book this trip. Like I said, they cannot do enough for you to make you feel comfortable and ensure an enjoyable trip. These guys put 100% effort into making your visit all you hoped for. We did have someone in our group who was moaning about the fact it was a bit cloudy and they couldn't see the stars as clear as they had hoped but come on.... anyone with common sense will know, no one can control the weather but this person seemed to be making a big issue out of it and in fact, she didnt come out of her tent for food or to join in the music etc. I guess you just cant please everyone !!! Thank you Ahmed and team. We will definitely visit again on our next visit to Morocco xx

What a great experience, right from the start! Ahmed was super responsive with every question I had. We made it a quick trip and this team helped make it happen (for our honeymoon). From making suggestions for flights to helping with ground trans to making one of the most flavorful meals we’ve ever had. It was all done with attention to detail and great consideration. The camp was super clean and everyone was so kind. Would definitely do again if given the opportunity.

Great experience richer. We were warmly welcomed at the hotel Le Homme. We were able to park our rental car securely here. Opportunity to use the lovely swimming pool. It looks like an Oasis when you enter the courtyard. The trip to the Sahara was also very well organised. Again very hospitable! It's all so beautiful! Highly recommended!

Ahmed is really friendly and hospitable, at his hotel you have a parking space for your car, a luggage storage and, if you want, a room to rest and take a shower. The camp for the night in the desert is reached after about an hour of camel ride, and the tent could not be more cozy: electricity, bathroom, shower and wifi. The dinner served is excellent and plentiful, followed by Berber music around the fire. Sunrise from the dunes of Merzouga is something you absolutely must see at least once in a lifetime! All beautiful!!

Everything went smoothly, children enjoyed camel ride and the camp was perfect. All food was good: tea, tajine dinner and breakfast. We also enjoyed very much camp fire with staff and other guests. Very good value for money. Thank you Ahmed!

Despite the fact that the camel ride was somehow challenging for my wife, the entire family (4 persons) nonetheless enjoyed the trek very much. The mint tea and diner as well as breakfast the next morning at the camp were very good, and the night in the tent was confortable as it could be. After a long search for a tour provider, the choice of Quiet Merzouga Desert proved to be the best choice (hotels, restaurant, tours, etc...) we have made for our 17 days trip in Morocco. From the very beginning, communication was very fluent and friendly with Ahmed, driving directions were very precise. As soon as we arrived at the riad "Les habitants", Ahmed offered us mint tea and home grown dattes. We were also provided a room to relax and refresh before the camel trek which start at around 5pm. The same room was used to keep our luggages over night and for a good shower after the night in the desert. A parking is also available for the car. This service is exceptional. I definitely and strongly suggest "Quiet Merzouga Desert" for a camel ride and a night in the desert camp. The guide for the camel trek was very friendly and professional. The camel trek starts and finishes just a few minutes walk from the riad "Les habitants", whcih is perfect for us. Last but not the least, I would like to thank again Ahmed for his hospitality.

I believe that we choose the best of tours in the desert of Merzouga. Ahmed is a very friendly and hospitable host. Provided us with a separate room with a shower for rest before and after the tour to the desert, treated typical Moroccan tea with mint. The tour was beautifully organized. In the camp - a delicious dinner and breakfast, and of course, desert landscapes - sunset and sunrise.

I have to start my review thank Ahmed for the good communication before the trip and also during our stay in Merzouga. It really makes you feel comfortable and he provided us all we need before and after the trip into the dessert. I was a bit sceptic before arriving..was afraid about finding a tourist trap but both the trip in dromedary and the night at the camp were amazing. I would definitely recommend using Quiet Merzouga for different reasons. The location is 5 minutes outside the main town so it is more charming and quiet, proper care of the dromedaries, nice guides, good food. It has all you need to make that one of the most special days of your trip in Morocco.
