Listen as your guide who speaks German, and English, tells you about the surroundings and history.
At the beginning of the hike, you will receive a fresh bottle of water. Feel the thrill of walking above the Guadalhorce River from the north access point and make your way for approximately 2 .5 hours at your own pace and have time to take photos of the landscape along the route and admire the beauty of the Gaitanes Gorge.
At the end of the hike, you´ll get together with your guide again and the bus will pick you up, enjoy and relax on the way back to your starting point.

What To Expect
Caminito del Rey
Select your departure point to know your exact pick-up time. A tour coordinator on the bus will accompany you throughout the tour to ensure the quality and good service during the round trip to the destination. Who will also inform us about the surroundings of the Caminito and Gaitanes Natural Park, times, and duration. We will arrive at the starting point “Restaurante el Kiosko” around 10:30 am where the famous Caminito del Rey trail begins. We will walk with our guide for 1.5 kilometers until we reach the official entry point where we must make a stop to equip ourselves with safety helmets. THE ADVENTURE BEGINS! Activity times Trail start: 10:30 a.m Trail completion: 13:15 hr aprox. Route: 2 hr 30 min aprox. Total distance 8km. ** Lunch on your own 2:20 p.m. The bus will pick us up at the meeting point. Between 4:15 p.m. and 5:20 p.m, we will return to the initial pick-up point.

4.00Everything was very professional, bus on time, friendly informed guides, and a safe driver. The walk was at a pace that everyone could enjoy and take in the views. Not a difficult walk by any means and time to eat at the end without rushing back to the bus so very enjoyable.

5.00Wow! What an experience! Nature at its best with spectacular views everywhere you look. Our guide Luis was excellent! It was very obvious he enjoys meeting people and guiding. Very professional. He made the day fun, interesting and kept us entertained with stories. Kudos for keeping everything fresh and exciting for us, when I know you’ve done it all 400+ times before. Bonus seeing the 2 mountain goats and learning about vultures. Luis shared lots of history and information about the area driving to the Caminito del Rey. Very organized with pickups, on time, bathroom breaks, explaining what would happen, and keeping our group together. Really appreciated Luis taking pictures of our group at key photo op locations. Our driver Rafa provided a smooth, easy ride. There is a large parking lot for those who drive independently. I was a bit nervous as not keen on heights, but the views of the gorge walking the 7km are so spectacular looking down didn’t bother me. Everything is very safe and secure. The walking platforms were actually much wider than I expected. Certainly wider than the ones from the past! We are 8 Canadian friends travelling together. We think this tour is the hi lite of our month visit in Spain! Highly recommend!

5.00We booked a guided tour to do the walk and our brilliant guide was Luiz, fluent in both English and German. He was both professional and informative and he made the trip extremely interesting and fun. Our driver Rachel also deserves a mention for her impeccable driving . The walk itself was breath taking and something none of us will ever forget. We would highly recommend booking this experience.

5.00A visit to the Caminito del Rey is a little adventure. A breathtaking hike through a great gorge. It is about 7 km long, but you don't notice. The path over the wooden walkway is well secured even for children, no stroller since stairs available. You shouldn't be afraid of heights. We searched for tickets for a long time and decided to go for TripAdvisor, because that's where the entire park is. Pick up hotel bottle of water and get the best Guid with Esmeralda. She is well informed and can reproduce it superbly. Thank you
