At the beginning of the hike, you will receive a fresh bottle of water. Feel the thrill of walking above the Guadalhorce River from the north access point and make your way for approximately 2 .5 hours at your own pace and have time to take photos of the landscape along the route and admire the beauty of the Gaitanes Gorge.
At the end of the hike, you´ll get together with your guide again and the bus will pick you up, enjoy and relax on the way back to your starting point.

What To Expect
El Caminito del Rey
Select your departure point to know your exact pick-up time. A tour coordinator on the bus will accompany you throughout the tour to ensure the quality and good service during the round trip to the destination. Who will also inform us about the surroundings of the Caminito and Gaitanes Natural Park, times, and duration. We will arrive at the starting point “Restaurante el Kiosko” around 10:30 am where the famous Caminito del Rey trail begins. We will walk with our guide for 1.5 kilometers until we reach the official entry point where we must make a stop to equip ourselves with safety helmets. THE ADVENTURE BEGINS! Activity times Trail start: 10:30 a.m Trail completion: 13:15 hr aprox. Route: 2 hr 30 min aprox. Total distance 8km. ** Lunch on your own 2:20 p.m. The bus will pick us up at the meeting point. Between 4:15 p.m. and 5:20 p.m, we will return to the initial pick-up point.

3.00The journey on the coach, to the walk, took so long from Nerja (6 hours round trip). I think this should be made clearer in the initial information. For me there were too many people on this tour and I would of been happier with a smaller number of people. I did'nt understand what the tour guide was saying so turned off the commentary in the end. We were lucky because it started to rain near the end of the walk.

4.00Camino del rey interesting trip but long transfer times from Nerja with drop offs along way (approximately 3 hours). For us it was a 10 hour trip from start to finish. Pick up at 9.10. . 25 minute toilet stop and very quick coffee at 11.35 then no refreshments or toilet stop till finish walk at about 4pm. Aware that no food or drink stops in park but saw other groups stopping for short break. We had a snack in bag but you had to eat on the move. No toilet stop on 3 hour journey back. Walk itself stunning

5.00We have been on tours worldwide and this is definitely one of the best. Beautiful scenery and interesting history, and a thrill to walk. Our guide ..Ramon...was very good. Informative and humerous. He ran the tour very well. Bus driver was very experienced and they both made a great tour even better. Would highly recommend this tour.
