The tour does not match the description on GetYourGuide. The limitations due to the tides are clearly mentioned on the provider's website, but NOT there. Watch out! So I paid for a full service but received a reduced one. Very disappointing, the best part of the trip was cancelled.

If there is anywhere more bueatiful than Whitehaven beach I haven't found it. The snorkelling was magnificent. We were looked after by a knowledgeable experienced crew who could not be any better. Excellent food and all drinks were provided

Highlights were snorkelling over beautiful corals with such diverse fish and seeing Whitehaven beach with its incredible colours. The Camira crew looked after as all well, great bbq on board and safety foremost. Would highly recommend!

This was a bit of a mixed experience, we are sailors and the reason we booked this trip was that we expected to go sailing. Instead we went motor sailing. To be fair the weather was a bit ordinary 20 -30 knt winds but it is still OK to sail in these conditions with a couple of reefs in, and your not sailing until the motors are off. We also expected to go to Whitehaven Beach instead we went to an adjoining cove and some passengers walked up a steep muddy trail to a look out where they could look out to Whitehaven Beach some kilometers away. What they were on was Betty's Beach, so caused some confusion when the guests were told it was Whitehaven Beach. We were told we went to Whitehaven Beach and when challenge about that, were told that they didn't have a licence to go there. So why advertise you are going there when you can't. I also don't believe the licence story because we found out from others that Camira regularly goes to Whitehaven Beach. Maybe it was the weather but this wasn't offered as an excuse. It couldn't be the weather because Whitehaven Beach was in the lee of the South Easterly that was blowing that day. Apart from that most of the staff and the Captain were very friendly and helpful and it was good to be on a boat going somewhere. We were also told that the Genoa couldn't be deployed because it wwas damaged. If you are running a commercial operartion then fix it. Overall disappointing and a bit insulting to be told mincie pies.

  • Beautiful sailing through some gorgeous landscapes

An amazing day out on the water around the Whitsundays, despite the rough sea conditions. The crew were all amazing, friendly, and loved to interact with all the passengers. Not a lot of sailing was done ( only two stretches at the start and end) but this was somewhat largely down to the weather conditions on the day. Snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef was somewhat crowded with the numbers on the boat, but managed well and was an amazing experience. The walks around the lookouts and onto the pristine Whitehaven beach were incredible, and to top off an amazing day there was non stop food and drink to keep everyone fed and watered throughout the day. A brilliant way to see the Whitsundays in a single day.

We have 2 amazing experiences with Cruise Whitsundays. The first one from two days ago, when we took part in the Reef Adventures activities at Hardy Reef. It was very well-organised. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The cruise itself was fun, and the snorkeling even better. We saw a lot of different fish (blue tang, parrot fish, wrasse and more) and a turtle. The semi-submarine is also a must, if you want to see the giant wrasse that lives underneath the pontoon. A lot of food was provided as well throughout the day. We don't understand the complaints here in the reviews about the stop at Hamilton Island to pick up more passengers. This is communicated beforehand and it saves organising yet another transfer service between that island and the reef (eco-friendly). Yesterdag we did the full day Camira sailing trip (snorkeling + Whitehaven Beach). A different kind of trip to the previous one. Beer was available from 11.00, but luckily this was not one of those typical booze cruises. Very good atmosphere, again friendly staff and lots of food available. Snorkeling was perhaps even better than at Hardy Reef, the coral seemed to be more varied and seemed more colourful. You get two hours at Whitehaven Beach to check out the Hill Inlet Lookout and spend time at the beach. Friendly staff member Louise took pictures of everyone at the lookout and was knowledgeable about the island itself. Cherry on top: my boyfriend proposed at the beach and afterwards, the staff made sure that we felt even more special than we already did. One thing though, especially on the Camira: make sure you bring sun protection. There is not a lot of shade. You need sunblock & some kind of longsleeved cover-up if you don't want to get sunburn

  • A great Whitsundays sail and snorkelling, and generous food and drink.

Top quality Whitsundays sail plus Whitehaven Beach and hill and snorkelling too. Generous and quality food am, lunch and pm, plus complementary drinks. Well worth paying the extra for. Thoughtful, professional and friendly crew for a stunning and fast catamaran when in full sail. Plenty of space to move about. A great day!

Get ready for a great day! All you need is a water bottle, a swim suit, maybe a towel and definitely sun screen and a hat. They do the rest. Great food all day long. An excellent pace to the day. Super nice crew. Very organized from beginning to end!
