Tortuguero National Park
Tortuguero canoe tour is a guided excursion that takes you through the canals and lagoons of Tortuguero National Park, using a canoe. It is a silent and non-invasive walk through the Tortuguero canal system. A local guide and naturalist accompanies you, sharing his knowledge about the biodiversity of the area. You will see the lush rainforest surrounding the canals, as well as a variety of wildlife. It is common to spot monkeys, alligators, crocodiles, different species of birds, sloths and hopefully manatees and dolphins.

5.00These guys saved our morning when the company we booked with couldn't make it. Our captain Rabat showed us many animals, like caymans, jesus lizard, herons, iguanas, piano bird and more. We could take many pictures from good angles.

5.00We went by canoe from Tortuguero Village to the national park and the adventure started right away with the first bird and iguana sightings. Our guide Leeroy had eagle-eyes 😉 The tour went to the park and also into small side channels, was not too strenuous, was fun and informative - highly recommended!

5.00A few days ago we met Engel in Tortuguero and decided to hire the turtle spawning tour and the canoe tour through the Tortuguero canals. Best prices in the area. In the first, with Ruibert as our guide, we could see the spawning of a green turtle and learn more about those animals. Along the way we saw a frog, a possum, a snake and a sloth. On the second tour, with Joel as guide, we could appreciate the fauna and flora of the turtle trails. On both tours there was always a lot of respect for the ecosystem. We would repeat without hesitation
