Tortuguero National Park

Tortuguero canoe tour is a guided excursion that takes you through the canals and lagoons of Tortuguero National Park, using a canoe. It is a silent and non-invasive walk through the Tortuguero canal system. A local guide and naturalist accompanies you, sharing his knowledge about the biodiversity of the area. You will see the lush rainforest surrounding the canals, as well as a variety of wildlife. It is common to spot monkeys, alligators, crocodiles, different species of birds, sloths and hopefully manatees and dolphins.

Really nice company, the owner made sure everything is on time and as good as possible. The personel spoke good english and took time to explain everything. On the night walk we managed to see a lot of animals with a local guide. It is a small local company putting lot of care to meet the expextations.

Great tour in canoë on the canales of tortuguero , go with paddle canoë to go inside the jungle (not possible with motor) Ask for guide call Nana , local guide who spent all his life in tortuguero I did the tour with my wife and 7 years old daughter

Pablo, our guide, born, bred & loves Torteguero. Full of info of flora & fauna. Knows how to find the cayman croc. We did the nightwslk with him too. So good. He can spot a red eye tree frog with his eyes closed!

These guys saved our morning when the company we booked with couldn't make it. Our captain Rabat showed us many animals, like caymans, jesus lizard, herons, iguanas, piano bird and more. We could take many pictures from good angles.

We went by canoe from Tortuguero Village to the national park and the adventure started right away with the first bird and iguana sightings. Our guide Leeroy had eagle-eyes 😉 The tour went to the park and also into small side channels, was not too strenuous, was fun and informative - highly recommended!
