The Alpenrosenklamm is located on the upper reaches of the Nederbach in Tyrol, where it flows from Kühtai down into the Ötztal. In the lower part of the stream it forms the Auerklamm, which can be a very sporty canyoning tour in its various sections. We drive in minibuses up to almost 1700 meters above sea level, where the Alpenrosenklamm (often just called Alpenrose or, less poetically, "Stopfer") is tamer and more accessible than its "big brother" downstream. Here, canyoning enjoyment is possible for everyone! Anyone who thinks that the tour would not have much action as a beginner's tour will be proven wrong as soon as we start: we let ourselves swing freely down into the gorge from a 20-meter-high bridge using a rope! In addition to slides, abseiling and small jumps, this approximately two-hour tour also offers a hands-on experience of untouched Tyrolean nature. This tour, whether in a group or alone, is guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience – even without canyoning experience.

My best friend and I went rafting and canyoning Apache with Wiggi last weekend in the best weather. At 10 am we started with our very friendly and funny guide Hubi and our group of 8 with a small bus into the mountains, where our canyoning tour began. Thanks to Hubi’s competent manner and calm charisma, we were able to overcome our fear of heights and had huge fun rappelling, climbing and sliding down waterfalls. At 3 pm we set off on our rafting tour with our also very likeable and funny guide Gregor. With a team of 6 people we drove through partly calm and partly white water tracks and were allowed to go swimming in the meantime. We had an all-round fun, adrenaline-filled and adventurous day and would recommend Wiggi to anyone. We would be happy to come back and look forward to the advanced tour next time.
