  Matt was not only an excellent guide, he was also a professional driver. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the terrain we covered but also about the entire Canyonlands Park. Our excursion was beyond our expectations.

  Ron picked us up and gave us a tour of Canyonlands we will never forget. It was unlike anything we’d seen on our own from the overlooks because we were deep in the canyons. He drove over boulders and on narrow, very high cliffs with switchbacks that made our legs weaken just from looking, but added to the thrill of the day! He was an interesting and safe guide. He pointed out the unique landscapes, shared historical information and welcomed tons of questions. The vehicle is high up and he had a stool to help some of us get in and out. We enjoyed him and the scenery and would recommend this tour to those who aren’t afraid of heights! A half day is plenty and the morning was a perfect time to go considering the sun’s position for photos. The rounded out our visit to Canyonlands perfectly. We left feeling like we had seen much more than we would have on our own.

• A great trip to see Canyonlands off road

  This four-wheel-drive trip through the BLM lands, Dead Horse Park and Canyonlands. National Park was fantastic. Our guide Abby was so knowledgeable on the geology and flora and fauna of the area. It was amazing. Her 4wd skills in safely negotiating the Shafer Trail and Long Canyon left us awe struck. Would thoroughly recommend this tour for those visiting Moab particularly if you have a car or RV and can’t get really off-road. Thank you Navtech team and Abby in particular.

  This was the one of the best excursions I've ever been on. My other three family members agreed. Ron was our guide and he was engaging, fun, and extremely knowledgeable about geological processes which he explained in an entertaining way. Ron also included the history of local characters and their antics. His 4-wheel driving skills were impressive along the rugged route and took great care of three senior citizens, one with some mobility issues. Our party was picked up at the hotel which was convenient. The excursion included snacks and ice water. Bring your own container. We had multiple stops for particularly scenic views and points of interest including movie trivia. Ron gave us great recommendations for local restaurants and other points of interest along our planned route through Utah. I highly recommend the half day tour of Canyonlands from Moab and kudos to our guide, Ron.
