Starting at 10:00 from our office in Kutaisi, our first destination is Okatse Canyon, Georgia's deepest canyon. It features hanging bridges and skywalks accessible via a 6 km trek or an off-roading taxi ride, offering stunning views of the canyon.
Next, we proceed to Martvili Canyon, where we embark on a boat tour through its picturesque landscapes, navigating its waters and discovering its enchanting waterfalls. For those seeking an added thrill, a zip line is available at the canyon.
Afterwards, we take a break for lunch at a local restaurant, enjoying delicious Georgian cuisine and replenishing our energy for the afternoon.
Finally, we explore Prometheus Cave, 1.4 km long and 80 meters below the surface. This underground marvel showcases mesmerizing formations and includes the romantic Hall of Love. Visitors can enjoy underground and open-air boating experiences before we return to Kutaisi by 19:30, concluding a day filled with unforgettable natural wonders.

Unfortunately the rain that day affected the tour, but the sights of the river, gorges and caves were beautiful and not to be missed. One boat trip was not available due to weather, but the cave boat was verry good (although also very short). It was not a busy day, but the queue for the boat took quite a long time. The guide was OK, but his English could be better and more clear. If we had know there would be about 11 km of walking, we would have brough walking poles - we asked in advance and were told the tour is good for anyone up to 90 years old; this was not true, it would be very hard for someone with difficulty walking (as for one participant on our tour day). But the sights were excellent, I recommend the tour.

Bring very comfortable shoes to walk in the woods in a steep path. Dress onion-like as it might be cold and hot and during activity you sweat. Ita a fantastic tour very well worth the trip, highly recommend.

* Important note for iOS users by the end * I really liked this tour, I had fun! The tour guide was super fun and outgoing. Felt like a friend showing you around. The time spent in each location was balanced. Note that this trip is for intermediate hikers. If you choose to walk the hike in the first location both ways it'll be rather tiring. But on the plus side you have the option to skip the walk and go directly to the hanging bridges by car. The food was very mid. They could have chosen a better spot if any are available. Good communication through the app. they helped us go to the correct location because we went to the ld meetup place at first. (please make the location spot more clear because the location link doesn't work on iOS devices! and it was a bit of a headache for us!) -> Really, please just update your location on Viator since it's incorrect

We did this tour in 2 couples of friends to explore the surroundings of Kutaisi. The landscapes are really beautiful: the first stop is the Okatse canyon (to reach it you have to do an hour of walking in a forest on the way and 1 hour on the way back, but there is the possibility of paying a transport by car to avoid it), visited along the suspended walkways attached to the side of the mountain; the second stop is the beautiful Martvili canyon: one part can be visited by canoe going up the river bed, while the other part via a comfortable trekking path. You can also see it from above flying over it with a zipline; the last stop is the cave of Prometheus, really beautiful with its imposing stalactites and stalagmites, which you can visit from side to side in about 1 hour of walking (you can also get out of it via a boat that runs an underground river). I give 4 stars to the tour as an average of 5 to the organization and our super professional guide, and 3 to the reckless driving of our driver, which made this tour very stressful (always very high speed on mountain roads, blindly overtaking in curves, speed bumps taken halfway out of the road with the bus, we risked running over some cows and doing a head-on with a huge bus while on the phone). Before the return trip to Kutaisi I asked the guide to tell the driver to drive more carefully and it worked. I'm sorry to be so critical, I noticed that in Georgia driving is a little more reckless than normal, and that's fine, as long as individual people do it we accept it, but it's unacceptable for a tour driver with 10 people on board to drive like this.

We had an absolutely amazing time during our tour! 🌟 George was a fantastic, knowledgeable, and friendly tour guide who made every moment enjoyable. Nini was an absolute ray of sunshine, her energy and positivity brought such great vibes to the whole group. We visited incredible locations, and our bus driver was excellent, making the journey smooth and comfortable. Thank you, Budget Georgia, for such a wonderful experience! We will definitely be choosing you again when we visit Georgia next time. Highly recommended!

For the elderly or those with knee or hip joint problems, this is not appropriate. There is much and lengthy up and down stairs and inclines. Many without banister support
