What To Expect
Basseterre
We will give you a complete tour of the Historic Capital City of Basseterre; we will also visit Timothy Hill which will give you a panoramic view of the South East Peninsula stretching out towards our sister island Nevis. The Peninsula is a narrow strip of land that divides two bodies of water; the Atlantic on the left side and the Caribbean on the right side, you have to see it to believe it. From the hill, you can also see the Frigate Bay Valley with beautiful homes jotting out of the hill, golf course stretching from the Atlantic Ocean to the Caribbean Sea and the coconut palms waving in the sun. Onwards to the beach where you can splash in the warm and crystal clear waters of the Caribbean. Activities at the beach include water sports such as snorkeling, water skiing, sailing and much more. For those who just want to sit back and relax, all the amenities are available at the beach: bathroom, change room, beach chairs, umbrellas, restaurant, Beach bars and much, much more. We visit beaches such as Friars Bay (Carambola Beach Club), Ship Wreck, or Cockleshell, depending on the situation at Friar's Bay which is our first choice. If the beach is overcrowded, we go to another beach in order to accommodate our guests.

5.00We had an exceptional and memorable day on our Island Paradise Tour, largely thanks to our guide, Roosevelt. Our tour guide Roosevelt from Island Paradise Tours was amazing. He is very knowledgeable of his country and a US veteran. He shared unique personal insights into the history and culture that made the experience much richer. He gave us a one-hour tour of the Capitol, then drove us to Timothy Hill Overlook for some amazing pictures. Finally, a three-hour stay at Carambola Beach Resort, which was the highlight of our trip. The beach was amazing; the water was crystal clear, and the resort facilities were excellent for relaxing. We highly recommend Island Paradise Tours, and specifically Roosevelt, for anyone visiting the island. Five stars!"

2.00The tour felt overpriced for what it offered — mostly driving around the city with not much to see or learn. We were also asked to arrive at 8:30, but the tour didn’t start until 9:00, so we waited in the heat for 30 minutes. The beach stop cost $40 for two people, but the experience still didn’t feel like good value. If you’re visiting St. Kitts, it’s probably better to take a taxi straight to a beach on your own

5.00Wonderful experience with Roosevelt our driver. The highlight was the Beach at Frigate Bay and Carambola Club. Some what crowded on the Beach, but good facilites with restaurant , bathrooms and bar. Beautiful views of mountains.

5.00I’ve seen Stanley’s name mentioned several times, and I wholeheartedly agree—he’s excellent! He showed us so many parts of Basseterre and gave us so much fascinating information. There was only one other couple on the tour, so it was very personalized. Highly recommend!
