What To Expect
Simpson Bay
Captain Bob's most popular speed boat, snorkeling and beach tour is a full day, 5 stop adventure of a lifetime that is uniquely designed to show you the very best of both the French and Dutch sides of Sint Maarten/St. Martin. Departing from Philipsburg, you'll first head past the islands of Saba, Statia and St. Barts before passing under the bridge into Simpson Bay Lagoon, the biggest lagoon in the Caribbean. While sightseeing in the lagoon you will be taken aback by the size of the million dollar "mega yachts" of the rich and famous that frequent the island in the wintertime. After officially crossing onto the French side of the island you will make your way around Marigot, Happy Bay, Friar's Bay and finally Grand Case.
Tintamarre Island
Your first stop is the island of Tintamarre, an uninhabited island within the French Nature Reserve that is only accessible by boat and where large groups are forbidden, a great way to escape the cruise ship crowds. Here your knowledgable captain will give you a brief tutorial, provide you with snorkel gear and flotation devices and send you off to snorkel with the protected sea turtles and stingrays that reside there.

5.00Great way to see much of the island and enjoy some great snorkelling. We really enjoyed the three stops - Tintamarre, Isle Pinel and Creole Rock. Saw lots of great sea life, including turtles, sting rays and tons of colourful fish! Excellent day trip for the family.

5.00This was truly the highlight of our cruise! I travelled with my family and we did some snorkeling, beach break, and got to see a few planes fly overhead. The captains were so nice, answered all our questions and told us history and fun facts as we toured the island as well. This is a must do!

5.00Wonderful day! This was a short walk from the Royal Caribbean terminal. We traveled with our eight and 10 year-olds, parents, aunt, and grandma. Our captains Alex and Martin were great. We stopped at many beautiful snorkeling locations and the part to see the plane arrive over our heads was timed perfectly. Our son loved seeing the underwater helicopter and submarine. Our daughter loved snorkeling in the clear water and all the fish and collecting sea glass. Sandwiches, chips, soda, beer, and rum and cokes were great. Overall it was an amazing day!
