Simpson Bay
Captain Bob's most popular speed boat, snorkeling and beach tour is a full day, 5 stop adventure of a lifetime that is uniquely designed to show you the very best of both the French and Dutch sides of Sint Maarten/St. Martin. Departing from Philipsburg, you'll first head past the islands of Saba, Statia and St. Barts before passing under the bridge into Simpson Bay Lagoon, the biggest lagoon in the Caribbean. While sightseeing in the lagoon you will be taken aback by the size of the million dollar "mega yachts" of the rich and famous that frequent the island in the wintertime. After officially crossing onto the French side of the island you will make your way around Marigot, Happy Bay, Friar's Bay and finally Grand Case.
Tintamarre Island
Your first stop is the island of Tintamarre, an uninhabited island within the French Nature Reserve that is only accessible by boat and where large groups are forbidden, a great way to escape the cruise ship crowds. Here your knowledgable captain will give you a brief tutorial, provide you with snorkel gear and flotation devices and send you off to snorkel with the protected sea turtles and stingrays that reside there.

Great experience. We really had a wonderful day. The crew was excellent and quite knowledgeable. The time at each stop was measured well. We got to see a lot and didn’t feel rushed.

Great speedboat tour, with the highlight at mahi beach. Is highly recommended in Sint Maarten, on land there are too many people and cars on the road.

Having done many similar snorkeling excursions, we were puzzled by the glowing reviews, but they were absolutely spot on! Brent and Dillon took us on an unforgettable tour around the island, stopping at stunning snorkeling spots, sharing insights about St. Maarten, serving a tasty lunch, and keeping the drinks flowing. What stood out most was the calm, relaxed atmosphere that made us feel completely at ease for the entire day. Brent was masterclass at his tour. From his professional but easy approach to safety to the smooth way he navigated the waves, his calm, relaxed vibe stood out. We loved the small touches too—like the island-made French baguette and local ingredients. Fantastic value, highly recommend.

My husband and I went on this tour this week while visiting St Marten on our cruise. It was so much fun! Dylan and Brett were very friendly and made sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of. They offered unlimited soda, water, beer and rum and had sandwiches, chips and fruit for lunch. Snorkeling was fun and the sites were beautiful! They also took us to the Juliana airport to see the planes fly overhead which was awesome. I mentioned to Dylan beforehand that I was worried about getting sick because I sometimes deal with motion sickness and he checked on me throughout to make sure I was comfortable. Don't let the ladder getting in and out of the boat intimate you. It was very easy to get back on the boat and there were many ages and shapes on this journey. We made it back in plenty of time not to miss the back on board time for our ship. Don't hesitate to book this tour and bring cash to tip at the end. They definitely deserve it!
