The natural highlight of this cruise was definitely the stunning sunset — absolutely breathtaking and perfect for photos. The entertainment crew also put in great effort and brought fun energy to the evening, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience did not live up to the price paid. From the moment we boarded, things felt disorganized. I never received the welcome drink that was included, and there were not enough seats on the sunset deck, leaving several guests standing. The presence of passengers smoking made the space even less enjoyable. The buffet food was inedible, which was very disappointing for a dinner cruise. The bar staff came across as rude and unwelcoming. During the singing performances, most guests were on their phones, which reflected the overall lack of engagement and atmosphere. The restroom facilities were in very poor condition — dirty and without soap — which is unacceptable for a paid experience. Overall, while the views and the entertainment team were lovely, the cruise was not worth the money and needs significant improvement in organization, food quality, cleanliness, and customer service.

We recently did the sunset dinner cruise and overall had a lovely evening. The views were absolutely stunning and the live entertainment was a real highlight — the singing, show, and energy from the performers made the atmosphere so enjoyable. You can really see the hard work that goes into keeping guests entertained, and we truly appreciated the effort from the team. There are just a few areas that could be improved, especially for the price point. The service and timing of the meals could be better organized, as our lobster dinner arrived quite late, and some of the food did not seem as fresh as we had hoped. While most of the staff were warm and helpful, a few interactions felt less welcoming than expected. That said, the overall experience was still special because of the setting, the entertainment, and the hardworking crew. With some improvements to the dining and coordination, this would easily be a top-tier experience and great value for money.

An absolute masterclass in "golden hour" magic. Between the five-star city views, the live acoustic vibes, and a dinner that actually lived up to the scenery, Captain Cook Cruises delivered the perfect evening. If you’re looking for the ultimate sunset seat in the house, this is it.

We went on Valentine’s Day and it was clearly overbooked for the size of the boat. There weren’t enough seats on the front deck, and when it came to dinner the seating plan was a mess, so we ended up at a shared table with other couples. It was also disappointing that every single drink had to be paid for (not even water was included) and the food was average for the price. The sunset was beautiful and the entertainment was decent, but it didn’t make up for the overall experience. The boat didn’t seem well maintained and, for what you pay, it’s definitely overpriced. Overall, not a pleasant experience.

Great set up. Crew were awesome and entertaining. Ben had the most amazing voice. Food was very tasty but could probably have a little more variety. Cocktails were great. Really good atmosphere. Probably wouldn't recommend it for young children.

On the positive side, it was a nice cruise. We had a good time. Staff were friendly. Performances were good. On the negative side, the meal was ordinary. For the price, I had expected a top-quality meal. Apart from a complimentary drink at the start of the trip, the meal included no drinks, not even water. That seemed rather stingy. For the price, I had expected to be looked after more generously and comprehensively. Entertainment was ok to good, but for a 'romantic' dinner cruise, it might have been nice to shift some of the entertainment to a more romantic type.

If you love sunset don’t miss this spectacular activity. Its a great way also to understand the Fijian culture,Food and enjoying the amazing sunset from the railing of the Big Catamaran Boat holding a glass of champagne. Boat: The boat was big enough for a fair number of guests and amazing spots to take nice photos. We took a Stroller with us for our one year old son and they helped us to keep that in a safe spot. Food: Fijian cuisine buffet. I loved the beef and lamb curry . Also they had lots of vegetarian options. Pick up& drop: Hassle free pickup and drop from the hotel at port Denarau. Value for money: It costs us 185FJD per person. The price was fair what they offered. Overall we spent an amazing time over there.
