Customer service was top notch, food was delicious, but the star of the cruise was the entertainment and the singing. Hosts made sure we were well taken care of, bubbles and refreshment on arrival.

Our Captain Cook Cruise was one of the highlights of our trip to Fiji! The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and made us feel right at home from the moment we stepped on board. The cruise was beautifully organized — from the scenic island views to the crystal-clear waters perfect for snorkeling and swimming. The food was excellent, with a great variety of fresh local dishes, and the entertainment on board gave a real taste of Fijian culture. We especially loved the sunset views — absolutely stunning and unforgettable! If you want a relaxing and memorable way to experience Fiji’s islands, Captain Cook Cruises is the perfect choice. Highly recommended for couples, families, and solo travelers alike!

The cruise is to maximize the beauty of the sunset that was done very well. They stared with a glass of champagne & very small appetizers. We had purchased the Romance Package that was supposed to include a bottle of champagne but was actually a Chardonnay Pinot Noir (sparking). While there was a separate table for two (red table cloth) there was no window seat per se. The buffet was same as with the entire group but most annoying thing was that we had to “buy” water to drink with our meal 😩! The cultural show was Fiji dances which were ok. The dessert was nothing memorable. Overall, good time was had but lower your expectations.

Very beautiful sunset , dinner and show, a must do when in fiji, but make sure you don’t have a day trip booked that day or the next day, spread them out.

My family and I took the sunset dinner cruise on our fourth day in Denarau. We were welcome aboard the catamaran with drinks and directed to bow of the vessel were we watched the sunset over the bay. The buffet dinner which was basically a Fijian affair, was included in the ticket, but passengers pay for their drinks. The advertised menu suggested a lobster upgrade. When I inquired about the lobster upgrade, I received conflicting information for why it wasn't available. One information I got was that they no longer provide the lobster upgrade option. The catamaran is old and the interior needs upgrading. Apart from that we had a wonder dinner cruise.

Not gonna lie, but we took the local special offer seriously as we could afford it. Glad, to have been greeted with welcome drinks & songs sung by one of the staffs..very welcoming & very friendly. The staff & their service are to be commended. And the food? Top tier! Because it was a buffet dinner, I loved how they were thinking of the rest of the guests and kept the food in the warmer.

Attended as a couple. Felt like staff were not interested at all, only the man that was playing the guitar was interactive with guests. Forgot our drinks twice, once on arrival and at dinner. Food was at best average. Didn’t like the set up of the evening. Don’t think I would recommend if I’m honest, sounds a lot better in the description than what you actually get.

I participated in the last night of my stay in Fiji. It takes about 5pm to leave and 8pm to return to port. We started by sipping welcome drinks while watching the sunset on the observation deck. After sunset, we had a buffet and folk art performance on board. Overall it was a good impression, but the toilet on the ship we were in smelled pretty bad.

My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our 1-year wedding anniversary on the Captain Cook Fiji Sunset Cruise, and it was an evening we will never forget! From the moment we stepped aboard, the crew made us feel so welcome and ensured everything was perfect for such a special occasion. The atmosphere was magical—watching the sun slowly dip into the horizon while cruising along the water was breathtaking. The live entertainment added such a fun and festive energy, and the Fijian hospitality truly shone throughout the entire evening. The dinner was delicious, with a great selection of dishes, and the service was faultless. Every detail felt thoughtfully done, making the night feel extra special for us. We can’t recommend this cruise enough for anyone looking to celebrate a milestone or simply experience the beauty of Fiji in such a unique way. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Captain Cook Cruises team for helping us create such unforgettable memories!
