Loved the Sunset Dinner Cruise and were very happy we chose this tour as part of our holiday. We upgraded to include the lobster and it was absolutely delicious! A wonderful crew that made the trip even better.

Nice people! Nice boat. Good time. But… we didn’t really go on a boat ride. We basically slow drifted w the motors running - occasionally breathing in diesel fumes because we were moving so slow. Other than that, great time and fun night. W the crew!

Disappointed that we simply went in circles in the harbor. Food was okay at best. Entertainment was excellent!

My wife and I are still scratching our heads as to how this excursion got such great reviews. Book if you dare, but if you do, I bet you'll be saying you wished you had taken my advice not to once you've completed your journey. The start of the trip was OK, as we boarded and received our welcome drink and got seated at the front of the boat. It seemed like it could be a good trip. Unfortunately that was the extent of the good part of the trip besides getting off the boat at the end. The music on the outside deck at the start of the cruise was nice. They came around with some weird "canapes" that were bland and we were given a napkin to put them on. No plate or silverware to use to consume on/with. They also just had us use our fingers to serve ourselves from the tray they were on. No serving tongs, forks, toothpicks or anything else, so who knows what type of nasty unwashed hands were touching the food. The sunset was nice and as it did, we were invited into the cabin for dinner. That's where everything went down hill very quickly. The food was TERRIBLE, and mainly because it was all COLD. Absolutely none of it was hot, it was all luke warm at best. In addition, the selection was lacking. It was either a salad or a couple of curry's to choose from. But considering meat is dangerous if it's not held at a proper temperature, they had a lawsuit just waiting to happen. What was hot, was the whole inside cabin of the boat. The AC was barely functioning, so we got to sweat while eating our cold food. What fun that was. To close out dinner on the extremely slow and torturous cruise back to the dock, the crew did some dancing and tried to get all of us to join it. Several of us did not as we were already drenched in our own sweat from just sitting there watching. We are SO glad we didn't book any of their extra "upgrades" because I was upset enough about how much I spent on the basic cruise. We did a South Seas 7hr daytime excursion 2 days after our Captain Cook Dinner cruise and only paid about 20 USD more and their food was AMAZING, not to mention 2hrs of complimentary beer and wine for 2hrs of the trip with private umbrellas and chairs and drink service on a sandbar. I recommend doing that type of excursion instead of this one.

Don’t waste your money. Paid for upgrade to captains lounge , it was exactly the same seating as downstairs. No air conditioning was working so everyone was roasting!!Upgraded to lobster which we did not get as they had run out. Buffet food was average and not enough for all the people. Drinks crazy expensive. My wine was hot, not even remotely chilled and they had run out of ice. An absolutely shocking experience. So disappointing as it was our last night.

Would not recommend this trip. Of course they could not control the weather(it poured rain) and no “sunset” to be seen. Most of the staff did the best they could and were super friendly BUT we were trapped inside of this super old and smelly boat, bathrooms were beyond disgusting. No AC, music was so loud it gave me a huge headache, pretty super husband got food poisoning. I didn’t eat anything. “Appetizers” were cold and burnt at the same time. We had to go ask for drinks and those were worse than the food. Very unorganized and we felt “trapped”.

Was a great trip out. Just not sure why you would be charged for water. They do not include drink with dinner.
