Once you’ve booked, you’ll receive a ticket with instructions and a unique code listed under “Before You Go”. Then simply install the VoiceMap app and enter your code.

The app displays directions to the starting point, and when you’re in the right place, just pop in your headphones and tap start. VoiceMap has automatic GPS playback, with turn-by-turn directions. It also works offline.

Nice walk around the bay with a fantastic scenery and fascinating history. You can stroll around the bay or stay at the Parliament building just to catch the view. The Norwegian church where Roald Dahl was baptized is worth a visit.

Great way to learn about and see the city. Can't beat the price for the quality. The app was easy to use and helped me get to the right starting point. Would recommend to anyone, particularly a solo traveler looking to see some of the main sites in Cardiff.

This was a great audio tour. The tech was excellent, the tour worked off your location and it was easy to stop the audio if you wanted to spend longer at a stop, then resume when ready. Information provided was excellent. Great way to walk around Cardiff Bay, highly recommend, it’s excellent value!

Great explanation and it was lovely to put the phone away and just listen. The narrator was very knowledgeable and I feel I know a lot about Cardiff bay now. I would definitely get another when I can.

Excellent tour. I thought it might be tricky to follow but it wasn’t at all. As long as you let the app have access to your location you can just keep your phone out for photos and the commentary starts automatically when you get to the right place - I was amazed! Just the right amount of information and plenty of places to sit down if you wanted. I would definitely recommend downloading it before you leave home and using headphones. The only thing I hadn’t allowed for was that the tour didn’t go back to the start point so allow extra time to get back if you’ve paid for car parking. The waterfront area of Cardiff is full of interest and definitely worth exploring. Having this tour first will bring the whole area to life. Thoroughly recommended and great value.
